Remember how awesome Halloween was last year? Well, it's back, and this is the official information:
What: Eagle Anime presents the Halloween Masquerade 2008
Where: Days Inn Maplewood Hotel & Conference Center near the Maplewood Mall, by Toys 'R' Us and Jo-Anne Fabrics (kind of)
Date: Saturday, October 25th, 2008
Time: 10:30am - 11:30pm
Price: Pre-Register by October 23rd: $15
At the Door Registration: $20.00

A hotel would be effing awesome. I'm so sick of crap dances because the music cant be louder than i talk. -.-'
I can guarrantee a lot of people would come if you advertise it as a hip (anime) party, make it all super special awesome and stuff.
I think it should be on the 31st, because otherwise, it just seems....not Halloween. It just wouldnt be the same.

I disagree with it being on the 31st. though it may not have the "ambiance" I still fancy going out on holloween to wonder and get free candy x3 besides, its one of those rare days of the year I can carry a sword around and not get questioned xD
As for pre-existing plans, im not sure, chances are, on holloween im going to back to my uncles house. Because, well, caring the living crap out of people (of all ages x3) is quite fun indeed. -grin-
Holloween this year falls on a Friday night. Sweet. More kids out later. More canon fodder...-more grinning-
I vote either the day after, Saturday the 1st, or sunday the 2nd. maybe even the week before.
As for a hotel, Sure. I'm not picky, and that could be fun.

I feel that the event should be on a different day than the 31st. I know for some it wont feel like Halloween on another day, but it seems as though October in general has become Halloween themed regardless of the specific day. Plus, if its another day, it might be easier for people to get the time off of work and/or still have time to go and do things on Halloween such as getting candy.
The event could be on the 25th, the Saturday before Halloween. Plus, since it would be on a weekend it would be easier to manage and schedule since there wouldnt be any school and could be during the day or at night. Halloween this year falls on a Friday so it would have to be after school which might be stressful.

Based on the current data from all three places this has been posted (here, FaceBook, Eagle Anime Forum), it looks like the 31st is the optimal choice for everyone. If this isn't the case, then tell more people to vote! The voting closes soon!

and besides, if its a full moon on all hallow eve, then i might just have to make an.....<_<.....>_>......appearence of sorts, and besides, a full moon on halloween is like, the s**t cause thats when the crazy s**t goes down......YAY WEREWOLFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope it isn't on the 31st, because I'm already obligated to be at a different party for Halloween, and I'm sure that other people may end up with similar cases. If we do it on a day other than Halloween then people will have less chance of over-lapping plans and having to decide abuot skipping one to go to the other.
(plus I thought it was decided a while ago for it to be before Halloween..)
