BIO: Yama grew up in a normal family just like everone else. His parents are the local carpentars of his village. He has no siblings at all, besides his brother who was mistaken for another criminal and lynched. Yama was flooded with so much hatred and sorrow when forced to watch his brother burn at the stake....that he succumbed to the darkness and passed out for several days. The los hit Yama so hard that he just removed him self from the world mentally and spiritually.

Having spent months not going to school and barely seeing his parents, one day he came from his bedroom and it was like he was as normal as if thing was never different, even helping his mom cook breakfast. His parents found this to be strange that his whole emotional state did a 180, but dismissed it wanting the better of the two. Later his parents decided he was ready for the academy and enrolled him soon into it. He quickly became a Genin and then decided to enroll in the medic-nin program.

While alternating betwwen Genin missions and medic training, Yama learned a unique fighting style called the Lions Fist Style. Who he learned from his father who he recently met during the Rikejuto attacks.

He trained with his sempai, Sakon as much as he could. Finding out he had barely any talent for Genjutsu and very little beside healing techniques for ninjutsu. At some points they were near insepperable(spelling). Yama raised through the ranks along with his fellow classmate Kinin. Then one day before Yama was going to go on his first mission he dissappeared. It would seem to most that he chickend out. But who knows? Now hes back after six months of being gone and is ready to continue were he left off.

Lately Yama has have been having nightmares. Even sometimes hallucinating during the day. He claims it is just headaches and stress from work....but it is something entirely all its own.

Physical Description:
As of becoming a chunin, Ashura’s hair has shortened to about ear length, but remains white with less streaks of black than when he was younger. His eyes are drained of color leaving them a light gray almost like the milkiness of a blind man's eyes. Depending on his emotions his eyes can change color caused by fluctuating blood flow to his eyes.

Ashura's body has an abnormally strong immune system which not only fights against disease, but it acclimates his body to all kinds of chemicals like poison. He rarely gets more than a stuffy nose when sick and has tended to highly contagious friends without so much as a sneeze. He also has highly tuned chakra control in his body making his internal control nearly perfect but he only has average and turbulent control outside his body, which is why he emphasizes taijutsu and uses chakra concentrating tattoos. This is mostly due to his internal anatomy. As a member of the Ketushai clan he retains their kekkeigenkai. However, Ashura's body is slightly different in that his chakra circulatory system is far more intertwined with his biological systems than normal. His body is highly responsive to his chakra and it's flow causes the biological systems to take more stress than normal. This stress has made his body adapt, strengthening the systems. However, due to this he is especially vulnerable to attacks like the juken.

He has tattoos on his body that are specialized to work with his jutsu, but they don't appear unless the jutsu it's associated with is being used. Many of these have been removed or replaced for less specificity and age of the special ink used as well as to avoid the locations of them to be known for long. There are also permanent tattoos that he has to help concentrate his chakra that if damaged can be compensated for up to a point and have decoys as well. He wears armguards that are a highly personalized version of the ANBU armguard that only covers the forearm and has far more attachment belts. It also has a retractable blade attached to it. The blade face of his right brace is parallel to the guard and is broad with a small central split in the middle running about a third the way down the blade. The left arm holds two serrated blades running perpendicular to the brace. The triggers for his blades have become far more advanced and depending on pressure from wrist movement in a circular aperture around his forearm he can change the length of the blades extension, but has lost the ability to change direction over his elbow without a separate manual release. His left brace alone has a small wrist mounted blade that is extendable and is able to change length more freely while the right is more rigid for strength.

He has a normal build but has a lot stamina. He tends to have only decent control of his chakra outside of his body so he uses his tattoos which allow his control to be near absolute outside his body. The tattoos compress and control his chakra as it leaves his body, but it takes an extreme amount of internal control to focus chakra through the tattoos. Ashura uses this to effectively stop one of his major weaknesses with his greatest strength. For his formal dress he wears a white Yuuki Tsumugi silk kimono with blue trim, large, billowy, white pants, and a white, sleeveless, overcoat, open in the front. Its trim is black and on the back is tri-yin-yang with black, white, and blue sections. For his normal outfit, he wears a black, skin tight, long-sleeved shirt that starting at the elbows are banded alternating white and black. He wears the standard light armor chest protector and has replaced his heavy metal torso guard with a belt of the same material as the chest protector. He has black pants that end at about mid-shin, disappearing under bandages that go to his ankles. Instead of sandals he wears shinobi cloth shoes with light metal banding for protection. The plate from his headband has been bolted into his right arm brace and a smaller black bandanna with a leaner unmarked forehead plate is around his forehead. Attached to his right hip is a shuriken holster and a kunai knife holster, on his left is small pouch. He no longer carries his chisakatanas, but remains proficient. His newest weapons are kunai marked with metal tags that act as electrical conductors and resistors to his lightning based chakra as well as capacitor tags that can store electrical chakra.


Family: The family is named after the war god Ashura and emphasizes strength in battle over all other aspects of life. Though they have taken up the name Ashura, the family is essentially part of the Ketushai Clan. However, their customs have begun to diverge from the mainstream clan culture. Everyone in the family learns advanced anatomy, especially concerning the blood. They also learn advanced science in chemistry and physics, which tends to give them an experimental and extended view of cause and effect. The family is renowned for its originality and diversity leading to highly unique individuals instead of a distinguishable clan with uniform techniques and physical characteristics. This variability is very important to the family in technique and appearance. Ashura’s shifting eye color was seen as a sign of greatness to come, though he dismisses it as superstition. However, there is always an emphasis on kenjutsu and taijutsu making them extremely skilled at hand to hand combat and sword techniques. There is also a high degree of home schooling before academy training within the family. He has a younger brother and a younger sister. He no longer lives with his family preferring his personal space. His father died on a secret mission; Ashura never received details concerning the mission or his father’s death.

Personality: Ashura is a fairly normal person. He tends to be stubborn and isn’t shaken easily. He is usually very laid back and rarely observes formalities. He doesn’t like to deal with bullshit or drama, which makes him very practical and seems older than he is. He likes to have fun and enjoys simple pleasures in life. He likes to swim and nap. He has light insomnia and rarely has prolonged sleep, rather he just has a series of naps throughout the day. He is very sociable and doesn’t like people with big egos regardless of their skill. He himself can come off as egotistical, but it is usually to him liking to be in control of the situation. Once very talkative and manipulative of conversations even during battle, he has become more reserved and patient. He is also very skeptical of about what people tell him and finds it hard to make lasting connections he trusts completely. When not under stress he enjoys music a great deal and as well as indulging in his thrill seeker side. Through all this is a permeating urge for everything to make sense making him able to make connections and strategy quickly, but can make him slow to react to novel situations as well as become frustrated with unanswered questions. He has no preference for being called Ashura or Masamune and responds to both.

Satsujintai (Murder by Hand) [Tai]

Most of the satsujintai incorporates fists, open palms, 2 and 3 finger jabs, and powerful kicks. Though the brute strength of this technique was his original focus, he has emphasized speed and his blade work so that the technique is now much more fluid and acrobatic resembling the original fighting style little unless he deviates from using his arm blades.

Satsujintai techniques:

Hishishokyaku (lifting talon): A fast, upward kick done while standing meant to hit the chest and head. It is almost always followed by a drop kick.

Nibai Hishishokyaku (twofold lifting talon): Another version of the hishishokyaku that is used by putting his hand on the ground and kicking up with both legs, but there is no following drop kick.

Ura Hishishokyaku (reverse lifting talon): A backwards, side kick at the head meant to hit someone attacking from behind. The momentum carries him into a 180 so he is facing his opponent.

Nibai Ura Hishishokyaku (twofold reverse lifting talon): Another version of the ura hishishokyaku where he puts his hand on the ground and does a 180 spin kick with both feet to the stomach giving it much more force.

Kosoga: For the kosoga he swings his left fist upwards in an uppercut motion and his right downwards to form a vertical pincer.

Tsume (Grabs (literally talon))- Ashura's greatest strength in the original technique was with manipulating his opponent through grappling and throws helping him manipulate his opponent. The technique has become more focused on controlling the space around his opponent with less grapping due to the encumbrance of his wrist guards.

Assaitsume (crushing talon): Basically a grab that is meant to bring force down on the opponent rather than control his movement.

Tosshinude (literally charge arm): A clothesline across his forearm.

Kyuute (nine hands): Ashura’s base technique is a barrage of nine jabs with his wrist blades at a specific length followed by a side step to the opponent’s right or left. He attacks every frontal direction to gage his opponent’s strengths and weaknesses in his technique. The sidestep leads to a series of slashes and acrobatic kicks and elbows to maintain speed and further test for weaknesses in defense, counter-attack, and offense. The intensity of the attack and further use of his blades’ various settings determines its killing intent and he favors after letting his opponent become comfortable in a certain distance varying the blade length to confuse gain a hit. This technique allows Ashura to easily counter while not necessarily land a killing blow.

Kuresshendo (crescendo): A simple barrage beginning with his right elbow to the stomach then a backhand to the face with that arm. He then drops and trips his opponent while stunned from the hit to the face followed by an uppercut from the ground to the back or stomach of the falling body before sidestepping to avoid counterattack in case of a miss or simply change the attack direction. The attack then dramatically increases in speed to take the dodging opponent by surprise or to pummel a disabled opponent.
