Rant here if you're pissed >.>

Well up until about an hour ago I was fine with being patient and waiting for them to get my account back to me. Then I read the damned announcement. They're taking the ******** certificate of adoption out of the cash shop >.> My Cash is on my banned account....25 ******** dollars of it. I'm pissed. I don't want to buy some of them because they're too ******** expensive....like the raccoon >.> I want my account back NOW!! *foams at mouth*

You people do not want me to start ranting about anything xD

I'm pissed and upset, but most of all... I'm disappointed.

When you've been a law-abiding member of Gaia as long as I have, you come to the understanding that if you're doing as you're supposed to and not breaking rules, you're fine. I personally pride myself on my diligence to set a good example for other members of Gaia. I try to help new members understand the lay of the land, so to speak, and strive to influence a generation of literate, considerate members that are genuinely glad to be here. When I'm fishing and someone has a question about bait/rods/fish/etc, even if I've answered it 5000 times, I usually answer them myself instead of just giving them a link. I make it known that I hate botters, those who artificially inflate the marketplace and others who try to turn a fun community of games and forums into something negative and greedy.

I've made my home in many places on Gaia. I go through phases of dedication for certain games or forums, so I consider myself a fisher, a user of Avatar Talk, an Exchange/Charities frequenter and a Guilds fanatic. I even went through circuits in the Chatterbox, Barton Town, Friends Chat and the Wanted subforum. It's ironic, for many fishers, ATers and Exchangers have no idea who I am, whether I'm on my main account or not.

Though I'm an old member, I don't condemn the new. I don't see the point in sitting around saying "Gaia was so much better, back in the day!". Gaia has made so much progress over the years, that people tend to forget all the good and just focus on the bad. Everyone seems to think that inflation and n00bs are a recent epidemic (no matter what year they joined in) and say "it was so much better back when I joined". The truth is, I have no idea what they're talking about. Yes, inflation has picked up over time. There is more gold circulating, and as older users leave or get banned with items still on their accounts, there are fewer and fewer of old items. That's just how it works. Artificial inflation is ridiculous, yes, but it's been around for years. It fluctuates, but it's still been here. There have always been n00bs. 'Nuff said.

I'm not trying to go off on a tangent of autobiographical s**t, but I thought it was necessary to know a few things about me before I explain why exactly I'm disappointed. I always support the mods and admins. I defend them to criticism. I report scammers/hackers/botters that I come accross.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is... no matter what caused this, it's disappointing to suddenly realize that myself and many of my friends have been banned for absolutely no reason. This isn't going to change my overall outlook or behavior on Gaia. I'm still going to support the mods and admins, no matter what happens. I will still report those who deserve to be reported, and strike out against rule breakers and change-bashers.

Still, I can't help but in my suppressed bitterness to think of that saying about staying fit, eating right, being good to your body and dying anyway. Overall, years of my life that I can never have back have been spent building up friendships, wealth, and identity on Gaia, not to mention real money out of my bank account, donating to a site for items I no longer have access to.

Finally, as for allegations of botting, that's where I am most angry. I'm not stupid, but to be quite frank, I don't know HOW to bot. I vaguely understand the concept and I know what it does, and I know that it's cheating. I loathe botters for turning a fun game into something persecutable. Despite this, I feel that any argument of my lack of understanding of bottoing as well as my personal hatred for it would fall on deaf ears. I hope that this is cleared up. I trust that the mods and admins are doing their best to clear it up. But... to accuse me of doing something that I hate to a place that I love... that warrants anger. A single look at the leaderboard can often show who the real botters are. If "botting" is what I'm being banned for, I want to know why. I want to know what 'evidence' they have. Is vying for a dream--a trophy--a crime? Is insomnia remedied by hours and hours of fishing a crime? I'm not even GOOD enough to be a botter. I've won nothing but the fish--and often trash because I'm a terrible filterer--that I've caught, and the items I've made out of them. I've never caught a rare, nor sold it for inflated profit.

I could go on about that forever, but I'd rather just keep telling myself:
The mods and admins are on our side, and we'll have our accounts back soon enough. Our names will be redeemed and our reputations cleared.

Still...

i certain don't appreciate being accused of botting in games when i worked hard to get into the top fishers' rankings. my wrist and fingers and back are always in pain by the time i finish my fishing session for the day. i have sold some of my donation item hoards to buy grade a bait. everyday i look at the rankings and see bots who are outranking me... and the people who own these bots are not suffering from the same physical pains that i have been going through in order to fish the right way.

and then i get accused of botting in games. wth? i go through all this pain to do the right thing, and i get lumped with those fishing botters?

Well I have great friends one keeps slapping me when I freak on her. I dont think I would get my account back but that is only because I dont really have good faith in people. I dont like to wait. I normally dont have to wait for anything. If I want an item I would save up my gold until I get it but since I have no life I fish. I play word bump. not that great at word bump. But I love to fish. These boys I was friends with told me its just a stupid game. Just restart it over. I dont have 3 years to put into another account. I dont want another account. I did nothing wrong on that account. I love to fish. also i had just brought 25 dollar cash card from target. unless you count showing a boy a picture of a tiny baby cause that is what I did. I showed my fishing friend a picture of my cousin Abby who was born. it was a picture of my aunt kissy holding my cousin Abby. the baby was so cute in that pictures and I was happy to show him my cousin. O_O Well I had over 400 items some of them my friend blue kirby gave me. One of them my friend who no longer comes onto gaia gave me a pair of pants I wanted when I first joined on gaia. then the evolving items my friend brought Blue kirby brought me cause his dad and mom order him over 75 dollars of cash for gaia. then my distance rod plus and my swords I loved those swords and my kiki kitty and coco kitty all of it is locked away where I cant see them anymore. I lost one friedn and another one is mad at me cause I didnt give him my swords and he they both think I did something wrong when I didnt do anything. At least I still have a few friends those friends are Sarah and Amber, Shadow. Those three are the ones I loved helping. Amber gave me a guild for a gift cause i wanted one and she wanted an item and friend's of hers didnt want the guild any more so we share the guild. crying I was always changing my avi cause of all of the cool and awesome items gaia was coming out with. I love changing Unknownprincess due to my mood in real life. One day I had changed over 10 times just trying to get it to a way I like. I finally got an outfit I liked but I was missing an item and I was saving up my gold for that item. I was waiting until the 15 to open the letters I had to see if I liked them or not if I didnt like them I was either going to give them to this girl for her birthday or sell them. and buy the demonbow I wanted. I lost my friend Amber's masterpiece we had an agreement cause of me having a ton of items I would switch items back and further. she burrowed my demonic ankles she told me I could have them back if I want and I could sell them for the gold. I dont want them back until I get a masterpiece. I miss my orphan, my coco kitty. My dark halo, my shadow spirt and most of all those two ancient katanas I had worked really hard for crying .
