Ok Anyone who reads this....tell me of the band from our time(asuming you were'nt born in the 60's) that closely resembles the feel and sound of the ramones....go into detail if you want....but id like to hear more from our gaia ramones fans...

I'm just trying to remember, which was the band that was supposedly going to feature in the Rock'n'Roll High School remake?
There must be bands that are as raw and rockin' as the Ramones, with no level of pretention whatsoever (there are probably a few out there who try to make themselves look like they 'don't care', when in fact, they certainly do care, buy their punky clothes at Hot Topic, whatever, you know what I mean).
But I haven't really noticed any too much. I know they're out there though. A band of 13 year old kids can start a band with all the same 'this is us, if you don't like it get ********' attitude as the Ramones.
I have to admit, when I saw your post the first thing that came to mind was Green Day. Probably because they're pop punk, have that look down - totally shallow reasoning really!
I think I'm thinking more in terms of what band would fit best to run parallel to the Ramones in Rock'n'Roll High School from a totally superficial point of view. I don't think Green Day are anything like the Ramones really.
