This is a copy of the letter I sent every one about the lottery:
Okay. ^_^ We've been talking about a lottery in the guild for quite some time now. The only reason it has been put off is because we only have a few active members. And now that there are no current contests, even they seem to have stopped being so active!
Thats why I've decided to bump our starting day to...today! 50 gold per ticket for our lottery. That isn't so much. But its 50 gold because I think if theres going to be a prize, it might as well be a good one. I'm putting down a base prize of 1,000 gold but not participating in it myself. You can buy as many tickets as you want. (For every ticket you buy, a piece of paper with your name on it goes into a hat. The more tickets, the better chance you have.) All of the gold that goes into the lottery goes to the winner. I don't take any of it.
This will last one month to give every one a chance to buy tickets and save up gold. This won't replace the monthly contest--as soon as I think of one. But like every other contest and give-away, you must have posted atleast ten times in our forums. Good luck!
