In my opinion, this is the worst anime ever made;
UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie
Everything about this series- And I mean EVERYTHING about this series- Is done tastelessly. Aside from the lackluster artwork, you'll be scratching your head at the first three episodes, which are done- for no good reason- out of sequential order. That may have worked with Haruhi Suzumiya, but for this anime, it just leaves the viewer with a headache.
As a testament to it's deserved obscurity, I've only met about five people who've watched it, and one of them affectionately referred to it as "The P***phile anime," because not only are the child-forms of the characters shown naked just as often as their adult-forms, but in every single episode, the lead male gets to lock lips with an eight year old girl. Yes, I know he has a good reason for it, but that doesn't make it any easier to watch.
There's also a lack of consistency with the fan service in this series. The nudity constantly switches between detailed and non detailed, and the female characters liberally switch sexualities just as often. Breast sizes and other bodily proportions alter like silly putty.
The lead female in this anime is possibly one of the least relatable characters in harem-genre history. She spends most of the series in child form, adopting the hyper-loli archetype, and aside from the space of a few flashbacks, the time she spends as an adult offers us virtually no information about her as a character. In both adult and child form, you will grow tired of her so fast that you'll actually find yourself rooting for her romantic competition to win the completely undesirable lead male away from her.
Now, despite this being the worst anime ever made, it isn't ALL bad. The voice acting is surprisingly well done, especially with ADV's rising star Kira Vincent Davis and the legendary Megumi Ogata behind both the english and the japanese versions of the otherwise annoying Princess Valkyrie. And in the latter half of the second season, the story takes a sharp turn, and becomes much more interesting.
Unfortunately, one good half-season isn't enough to redeem this jumbled mess of sub-genres.
It recieves my acknowledgement as the worst anime ever made.

People are going to hate me for this one, but...
Inuyasha
Now maybe, just maybe this show is good in Japanese...but I've only seen it in English, and all of the English voice actors are terrible!! Not to mention the script writers...most of the dialouge is inconsistant and painful to listen to.
This show doesn't seem to go anywhere...no matter how many shards they collect, they never seem any closer to finishing the jewel. I can't stand animes that drag on forever.
Alot of the characters are incredibly two-dimensional; they don't change at all during the series. They are also pretty flat substance-wise. For example, the priest is perverted, but there isn't much to him beyond that. Inuyasha is angry about pretty much everything...etc.
I dunno...this show just really doesn't cut it for me neutral

I liked Shin Chan.... sweatdrop
Not as an anime, though, I liked it as a funny cartoon....
Once you think of it as an anime, then it sucks, but if you just casually watch it, it's super cute and hilarious!
You guys aren't going to kill me now, are you?

Nah, you are exempt from the angry mob with pitchforks and torches scenario. I have come to know more anime and some of them horrify me in a way that made Shin Chan likable. XD
