Anyway, *I* know who they are, they're how I found out about Gackt and Jmusic in general! I'll never forget Malice Mizer.

love MM... of the three eras... Gackt era, hands down the better one. song, sound and costume! :XP: lol

i actually found Gackt before MM... i found MM from Gackt. sweatdrop lol. i love all their songs... very nice.

but Mana's solo stuff all sound the same... not a bad thing, but it gets a little tiring. of the three eras... the first era sounds just like Mana stuff now... the 2nd (which is Gackt's!) had some different elements to them, which is nice. the 3rd era... Mana tried to recapture that moment from Gackt's era, but it didn't quite succeed as planned i guess? lol... that's my take on MM. sweatdrop lol.

uhhhh...

Tetsu era: more of the beginning sounds of MM. very... more rock with touches of 80s goth and sprinkle of classical. i think Tetsu's vocal is a bit high. the look is... very 80s with the giant hair... i suddenly thought of "Boy George" when i saw some pictures of them.

Gackt era: more pop with 60s-70s rock keeping the goth vibe and the classical touches. the vocal is more... smooth, little deeper. the look is more colorful, victorian/rocco costumes, very theatrical.

Khala era: more heavy metal with darker goth vibes, and very light sprinkle of classical. the vocal is almost a cross between Gackt and Tetsu. it isn't so deep, nor is it too high. the look of the band is clearly pure goth.

well... to really get a taste of the eras... youtube. loads on Gackt and Khala, but not too many of Tetsu (least not that i could find). have fun! hope this helps.
