o: You wouldn't believe what happened. Ohk, maybe you will, but....oh well. xD Markus Zusak wrote 'The Book Thief' and 'I Am The Messsenger'. Well, a while back I wrote him a letter telling him how much I love 'The Book Thief' and asking him for writing advices... So, today I got a postcard in the maiiil. GAH. I'm so happy he gave me advices and such and it was so kewl.
Just sharing. I'm so ecstatic. I just want to RUN RIGHT THROUGH that window over there. >_> {(it knows i'm talking about him...)} Tis all.
Sorry if it seems like I'm bragging. <_< I'm not trying to. I'm just exciteds.

Not like Farley Mowat. I just got a postcard. It was pre-typed. But it was signed. smile

You'd be surprised how willing a lot of authors are to help aspiring authors, especially if they are fans of their work.
With the rise of movies and what-not, reading doesn't get as much attention. Then add on the fact that there are hundreds of books out there, they are happy just to get your attention.
Or at least that's what I've been told by a favorite author of mine. Heh.
