Storms!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Okay....thanks, that's out of my system! Sorry I haven't been on as much, but the durn storms won't let up! I am so pushing my luck being online right now, lol! *lightening crashes outside...wait...is that hail?*
Anyhoo, I want so badly to be here, but.....this is one doozy bunch of springtime weather! xd Just imagine the Wizard of Oz stuff, lol!
Just wanted to let everyone know, and when it lets up I'll be back!

Took these today--before another storm hits! See how dark it is outside? eek
This one is the forest next to our house--and I do mean NEXT to--open the door, and there it is. Oh, and by the way--a waterfall doesn't belong there! This is my driveway....well...what's left of it! xd  This is our road!

Glad you survived the storms Retro. We had them just before you - weird yesterday to see water bubbling up out of manhole covers! And I mean streams of water a good 6 inches in the air! Tons of hail, power lines down, there was a picture in the paper yesterday of a truck that was blown by the wind and rain into the side of a building here in town. Lots of closed streets etc. Also the lower level of our church flooded. eek I think that was about the worst one we have had in the almost 10 years we have been here.

Mainly just puts a damper (lol, no pun intended!) on my ability to post here! Drat!!
Oooo yeah...bubbling--isn't that weird? We have little geysers in our road all over! The underground caves are so full of water that it's bubbling up out of the ground! (they don't call Missouri "the cave state" for nothin'!)

No consolation but we will all be here when you get back around. Soon I hope. That really is a nice pic of your new waterfalls though. Isnt it amazing how much damage can be done by water? A few years ago my area had some good storms and lots of flooding and it just floored me how much damage came out of them

Okay....sooooo sorry to have been absent for so long! I really missed welcoming all of our new members! sad Well.....WELCOME new members!
Update--still going through some doozies here storm wise--the "repair dude" just determined that it was "strong winds" (tornado) that kinda jerked the house around...but--got a new roof--yay!!!! whee
I (and Veranuem) are going to be outside alot trying to get everything fixed/picked up/filled in, etc., so I am still gonna be gone alot. *sighs....wants to hang out with everybody all day* xd
Luf you guys SO much, and really miss being here.....ummmm...don't forget me, ok, lol! eek *hears voices whispering..."retro WHO"?*
I'll get on when I can, and it looks like a few storm-free days!
Oh, and thought you might find this interesting--we live in an area in the midwest they call "tornado alley"! Whoah!
One day the girls and I stood out on our porch and watch a tornado pass overhead--it was soooo cool! The clouds were all going around in a circle really fast, and we were in the eye of the storm--looking up through the middle it was perfectly clear and beautiful--everywhere else dark and stormy! Course...it was probably pretty stupid to be standing outside right then..but...what the hey! 4laugh
So, just wanted to let everyone know I haven't forgotten you, and have not abandoned the guild--I will be back! *assumes superhero pose...trips on cape* rofl *hugs all around*
