Like, what was the longest amount of time period in which you didn't play Sims?
I haven't played in almost two months.
I've just sort of lost interest.

Plus it's really slow for some reason lately.
And I hardly have anything in my neighborhood.
D;
It'll come back to me soon and I'll be addicted and play for six hours a day.

Well, since I reset my Sims to default about a week ago, I haven't played. I need to find all the old Custom Content I had before I start playing again, and ModTheSims2 is so freaking slow on my computer that I can't navigate it without feeling the desire to throw my computer through a wall.
So until I work up the strength to try looking for custom content again, I'll probably stay away from the Sims for a record amount of time.
As is, the longest I've not played (ignoring about a year where I had the Sims loaded on my computer but didn't play it at all) has been a couple months.

last time i played it was like a week ago, but the longest ive went without playing it since i bought it is 2 monthes

The longest was... probably a bit more than a year. But that was because someone stole my game, and I didn't want to buy another one in case it turned up. >>;;
I was pining for it the whole time. XDDDD

Well last year I quit sims because I was getting too addicted to it, so I didn't play it from September until December. This was mainly because I managed to destroy the one neighbourhood that I had been working on for the past two years, and didn't have recent enough back-up data to want to start all over again.
Then in January I got back into it for a while, and got a new neighbourhood going and everything, and I've kept going with that one now, but I'm so busy with studying for exams that I hardly get to play it anyway.
I haven't bought any new expansion packs since Seasons came out either!

Well I've actually just quit out of the game a few seconds ago.
I guess the longest I've gone with not playing is probably 2 or 3 months. I lose interest in playing every now and again yet never stop looking for new downloads.

About a year now actually. Why might you ask? Because apparently EA games and my video card don't go well together. : So, until a fix is offered, no more sims for me...which means I've wasted hundreds of dollars.

Six months, give or take a few. I don't play as much in periods, but it's good for wasting time when you're bored.
That said, when I don't play the Sims I'm playing rpg's.

Over a year...
We didn't have an internet connection back then yet sweatdrop
so I didn't get any custom content and the playing started to get boring.

Since I started playing Sims to in Aug 07 the longest I have been away from my game is 2 weeks. I have to housesit for a friend of mine soon though so if I don't take my PC with me it'll be 5 weeks of Simfree hell for this little addict.

The longest time I didn't play the Sims was about two month.
That was because my computer didn't start.
But now everything is okay again and the longest time I don't play the Sims now is a week because I have too much to do for school or something.
