I went to my first Flogging Molly Concert a few months back with a female friend of mine (no benefits) & we had the time of our lives! Not only does Flogging Molly sound better in person, but I never knew how fun it was to play with drunks, when you are sadly sober. While I have had a few drinks in my life I'm not that big of a drinker. Please don't shot me! I like scotch! And other alcholic drinks. But might I begin the story:
My friend and I were near the pit but not directly in it. There was a fence keeping us from getting in. Don't know why, never been to this arena before. Anyway as tradition at events like these, everyone was totally trashed. The guy in front of me was always offering me a beer & if I wasn't the driver I would have taken that free beer. Does anyone realize how much that swill cost at these things! It's robbery! Anyway...The girl behind me was slapping my butt & wanting to dance. Anyone else ever have this? Drunk women asking you to dance & slapping your butt? It's nice...If she's cute. This one was not!
The best part was the guys directly in front of me. So drunk they kept falling over..backwards. My friend is very small & petite & I had to constantly push these huge guys up on their feet. Swaying back in forth, one feel towards me then the other. Eventually they collaspe & I had to help them up. Then Flogging Molly played If I Ever Leave This World Alive...Before I knew I was holding two very friendly drunks & swaying back and forth. I felt a bound with those two as they talked their jiperish & sang...Horribly. But that is truly the Flogging Molly experiance. Relaxing, having a few beers & swaying with fans to the music.

Haha! Ireland, that's just a big stereo type anymore, you should see them over in the world down under (Australia).... They get smashed all to hell... Don't get me started with Germany, haha!
I do admit though, Guiness is the only stout I feel good drinking, our American crap.... tastes like crap. 3nodding
