Went out for the ghostwalk last night and had a great time. I got some 'orb' pictures and we were definately interacting with something at a couple of different places we went. The first place was a small island in the river by my city which used to be a native Canadian meeting place waay back in the day. The last time they'd gone (I wasn't able to go) they hadn't barely set foot on the island before they got the distinct impression they should go the hell away, so they did. I'm a bit more aware and respectful of the dead, which I think helped last night. They consider what they do 'poking', where for me it's more like I just want to see what's out there. Shits and giggles vs knowledge. I don't know. Anyway, we managed to get pretty far, took a lot of good pics and then were stopped from going any further on one of the bridges. It felt quite suddenly like it was hard to breath and a definite sense of 'don't go off the bridge', as we neared the end of it. It also started to rain as we debated what to do. We turned back and it stopped raining. Considered going on, it started raining. This would be a theme for the night. We decided to head back to the car and were getting close to the OTHER end of the bridge when that same feeling came back, 'don't go off the bridge'. I said to myself f*** that and barrelled through. It was only a test; as soon as I was off, feeling was gone. The others reluctantly followed and we got back to the car without incident.
After the island we headed over to my university; it used to be a residential school for native Canadian children and on the grounds is a tiny cemetary. Yeah, we went there. >_< The last time they went, they got it on recording a voice saying "Don't walk here."; male and angry. The three people I was with? All women. So yeah. We went anyway. It was a lot quieter at the cemetary, I didn't take any pictures and we just explored a bit to see what the audio equipment would pick up. Eventually we all stood under a big spruce tree and just waited; we could hear what sounded like footsteps in the deep pile of leaves and things rustling, but there was no wind. We were debating what to do when it started raining again, harder than before. We said ok, time to head out. Now, the cemetary is divided into two levels, an upper and a lower. We were in the upper and as soon as the four of us got to the lower, its stopped raining. Just like someone turned off a tap. O_o We left in a hurry.
Hopefully the pics I've uploaded below show the orbs I took pictures of. I have no idea what the orbs ARE but I know they only show up on film; you just take a picture of somewhere or something and they show up later on the picture. Keep in mind, it's too early for leaves, and as for dustit had rained earlier that night. The bottom one is definately better, as the top one only has one orb kind of hanging just above the branch at the top of the pic. smile
