Henna entered the bitter cold place, wondering if he'd be able to stand this place long enough to figure out just how it stayed so cold in warm weather. Right at the entrance as a massive cavern that dipped underwater, but at the current time, there wasn't any water there. There was a little bit, however not too much. Nothing like he had expected.

But even though the chill would drive away most people, Henna's passion for ice types as well as his insatiable curiosity drove him to go deeper into the cavern.

Hoping that Cygnas wouldn't hate him too much for bringing her out into the cold and asking her to carry him down to the cavern's floor. He saw no other method of getting down there without falling, and then he'd be in a really bad state because there was no way to climb back up.

Cygnas was in no way, shape, or form happy when she had to be called out to help her trainer get down to the bottom floor of the cave. It was too cold here for her tastes. She much preferred the heat to this damp, chilly place. But, she did as she was asked. There wasn't much use in arguing. Her trainer was too dumb to understand her speech anyways, and so she helped him get down there.

Dismounting Cygnas, Henna tanked her, beofre he grabbed her poke'ball. She was only too happy to want to be let back in, however, she noticed a shadow moving behind her trainer, and began flapping her wings in order to warn him. Henna was a bit puzzled at this strange and odd behavior. Normally Cygnas was calm and a bit eccentric, however, this was behind her normality. Fortunately for Henna and Cygnas, he heard a little splash. The water here might be mostly gone, however, there was some and the approaching poke'mon wasn't going about its job too well.

Henna wasn't sure where to go from here. There were several caverns that lead who knows where and there was no way to be sure that any of them led where he wanted to go. But Henna was slighty worried. Someone mentioned to him that Shoal Cave experienced something called tides and it was dangerous when high tide was around. However, that didn't fix his curiosity, and so he picked one of the caves and ventured farther inwards.

Henna walked through the tunnel that he had picked, and was slightly disturbed. Unlike Granite Cave, the water here was frozen solid, but the tunnel was warmer than the large one he had just exited. Not sure just what was going on, Henna couldn't see the creature that was approaching behind him.

Thankfully Cygnas's sharp hearing heard something. Henna swiveled to take a look around and saw a shape. He couldn't tell what it was, but he was going to be on the safe side. He guessed that water poke'mon dwelled in here as well as ice types, so he withdrew Jupiter and sent him out at the approaching poke'mon.

Henna jumped for joy. He remembered that he had always wanted that poke'mon. Wailord were awesome. And with his newly caught poke'mon, Henna continued down the tunnel.
