The year is 2012. Scientists are trying to find a cure to a new deadly virus that is wiping out more than half the world. Many are infected and there is so far...
there is no cure.
The virus has 5 steps.
1st- soreness
2nd- trouble breathing
3rd- paralisis
4th- deafness
5th- death
10 lucky different stage infected winners are chosen in the world to come to a science lab to be cured...well...when they find one. The 10 lucky winners will be put in a container where they will sleep until a cure is found. Nothing about them will change. If they are 10 and 100 years pass when they wake up, they will still look and act 10. The scientists say that they will wake them up when the cure has been found. They tell them that the virus will not spread when the infected are sleeping....quickly.
But the scientists didnt tell them that when the patients are put to sleep, they are actually living in a totaly different world. Everything is different. But in this world...instead of being infected, they have powers. They can feel, taste, hear, and smell things. So this couldnt possible be a dream...could it? They must choose which world is real and which one is just a dream, Or else they will die.......sp which world is reality, and which one is not?
p.s. the real world is the one with the powers. The one with the virus is a nightmare.

Rules:
romance is encouraged
ages range from 14-25
the powers need to be creative. If i dont like your power, i WILL tell you to change it. So make sure you think of a good one so you wont have to go through that.
But logical people, if you are shot at, you WILL eventualy get hit. You cant dodge all of them. Your not invincible in this rp. YOU CAN DIE
But no killing the other rpers
You can have an anime pic or a real pic if you want. Your choice. But please make them attractive.

i dont care about cursing
if you need a room to do it, dont post it. (keep in mind that there are virgin eyes that you can scar if you do)

I cringed as I walked to the lab. My body was so sore, and it hurt even to lay down. I just felt like bawling my eyes out from the pain. But i sniffed back my close to falling tears and tried to ignore the pain. The showed us where we would be sleeping. I climbed into the small container and felt my body loosen up. It was comfortable....if i ignore the constant throbbing of my sore body.
"Now just go to sleep and we will wake you if...when we find a cure." The scientist said. I took a quick glance at all the 'lucky' winners and sighed painfully. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
I looked around in my dream...im pretty sure it was a dream. Although i felt the breeze and i could smell something good being made. I could see, very clear in fact, strange looking trees and too happy people. I noticed that my clothing was different as well. I was wearing some type of dress. But i felt very uncomfortable for it was extremely short and the top part was pretty revealing. But when i looked around, it seemed that many people had this....disturbing style. I had the urge to take my hands and cover myself. When i moved my arms to do such, i realised that it didnt hurt one bit. No pain. No tears. Nothing.
"This has to be a dream..." I said. Wait...i could hear myself so clearly. How? I piched myself. "Ow!" I cried. "That...hurt..." I muttered.

Following a short line of people, I spotted a row of chambers, not bothering to listen to the speech, like I could anyways with my heavy breathing and aching body, I climbed in, the door shut after me, and I just stared blankly at the glass for a few moments. Soft upholstery was felt, some sort of silk or cotton blend, in any case, comfortable.
As the man said sleep, though that was only a half cognitive note, I drifted off. but as I did, I seem to have awoken at the same time. Standing out in a field, shorts and tropical shirt blowing from what appeared to be my frame, saddles on my feet and blowing obnoxious grass all around! A worse case scenario, thinking to myself, 'this must be a dream, a nightmare' I forced my self to circumvent the clothing styles and not realizing my hand motions, I shifted my clothes to a long black pair of pants and a black trench coat. pleased with myself, I decided to wander about, not caring that I stuck out from the crowd, in fact, all around me, the whistling grass would still, sound would dim and motions about slow down, as if i was casting some gravitational pressure around myself, but of course I was blissfully unaware as a few strands of my hair went from brown to snow white.

I decided to explore a bit. I looked at strange flowers, marveled at strange animals, and the best of all, walked without pain. I ran around laughing and smiling....ok...i probably REALLY weird, but that would you do if you are no longer in pain? I paid no mind to the too-happy-and-too-happy-go-lucky people. I mainly hung around the strange animals. I saw something that looked sort of like a mix of a leopard and a wolf. Surprisingly, it looked pretty cool! I took in all the details of the strange creature. But slowly, i saw my vision become more acute and to a lower level. My hands ended up being on the floor and becoming paws and i felt my ears move to the topof my head. I paniced. I tried to scream, but it only came out as a roar. My cries were wimpers and i could hear everything around me. I thought about how i used to be. My human form. I closedmy eyes and felt my shivering body change. I felt my paws once more becom hands, my whimpers become small paniced cries, and my shivering body up against a tree with my knees up against my chest. My tears rolled down my bare face and i was now afraid of this world i have just a few minutes ago loved.

bored and noticing a few odd people out of the bunch that seemed to know what was going on, I walked over to the far end of what seemed to be a valley, a couple of 'people' if that is what you could call them with their 4 arms, 4 legs and dog noses, they looked more like hell hounds mixed with humans more than anything; in any case, I confronted them.
"What is going on here?" I inquired of them.
they held still, not bothering to budge, they didn't even seem to notice the young man dressed in black.
stepping forward a little, the guards struck out pikes, of which I could swear were not there a second ago, pressing against them, the pikes were solid, so I questioned them again. "who are you?"

angered slightly, I threw some rage into my voice, with the rage came an increase in volume, increase in gravity upon my vocal targets and an increase in my size as I seemingly grew, or they shrunk. Again I asked, but this time with authority, "What are you doing here? TELL ME!" I shouted down their snouts.
they held but quivered, budging slightly, they noticed the young man dressed in black. In answer they stated, "We are the order, we keep the order in the keep, all within the keep are to be kept in the keep."
astounded, I took a step back, everything returned to normal, and I walked back over to the edge of the crowd.

A smiling couple passed me. It seemed like they didne even noticed me. "Excuse me..." The didnt looked at me. I got up and ran in front of them. "Excuse me...where are we?" I asked. They just merily smiled and walked around me. I was quickly loosing my patience. "Excuse me. " I said sternly. They turned around still smiling. "Where the hell are we?" They both gasped and giggled. "It is unlady like to say such bad words young lady." Said the lady who seemed to be cursed with a childish voice. I grunted. "Well, i apologise miss...but may you please tell me where we are?" I asked as politely as possible. "We may not." Said the man with a deep voice. I felt my anger rise and i grunted with fusturation. I stompted away. I kept walking until i came to what looked like a small town. Again, i saw these strange people with those freaky smiles. There were so many smiles, i just wanted to see what would happen if i frowned! I took a seat at a bench with an old lady feeding what looked like a killer birds. The birds had sharp teeth and had claws at the end of their wings. Their beaks were sharp and pointed. Creapy... i thought. I burried my head in my hands and sighed. "Where am I?" I muttered.

the crowd turned out to be more of a small city, or a collection of random buildings, peering into the crowd, I analyzed it much as any young boy would, separating out the npcs from players, spotting a young girl that was lamenting about their location, I dashed over to her, seemingly the only not automated player for quite a distance.
"What's your name" I rudely asked, but I didn't know better, having been abandoned by my parents at a young age, it was more about what you could tell me than the other way around. Subconciously realizing this, I added, "Mine is Redin."

I looked up and saw the boy. He said his name was Redin. "Oh..hi...im Aj. nice to meet you..." I extended and hand intending for him to shake it. Then i noticed what he was wearing. It was totaly different from what all the other people here wear. And he didnt seem the least bit happy. I gasped happily. "Your different! Your not smiling and not wear those...these horrible clothes!...wait...you look familiar...have we met before?" I was running my mouth speaking everything that came to mind. Then i remembered. "Your from the lab....your the one who fainted in front of the lab...right?" I asked sheepishly. "Im sorry if im talking so much...but...everyone here is so....i dont know...its like they know something we dont....and they dont intend on telling us any of it...." I said sighing.

She was talking too much, it was starting to get annoying, so I placed a finger to her lips and started off answering her bigilion questions.
"Yes I am from the lab, and I believe you are to?, I changed my clothes some how, they were just too uncomfortable. yes I did faint in front of the lab, I had stage two infection. And i also inquired a few npcs, they seem bent upon keeping us in the dark, but I managed to gleam a name for this place off the guards, the "Keep", thats what they call this place." I then moved my finger from her lips and alowed time for her to think over what I had said.

I yawned and layed in the grass of this weird world he been in for awhile. Everything felt real, the grass felt wet if you saw dew on it in the morin, but it was all fake. How did everything... happen like this? He looked at the sky seeing the clouds move by and knew they were even fake too. He hated, but some what loved this new world he had been put in. He got up and seeing it was an actual world, he had to have something to protect him, he grabbed the wooden sword he made.

I blinked, yelped softly at the sudden blast of light. My brain seemed fried, so I couldn't think clearly. I heard voices, not near, but not far. Rolling over, my breathing was muffled by the grass. Wait....grass?! I quickly jumped to my feet, then stumbled dizzily back to the ground.
"What the heck..."I mumbled, frowning at the scenerey around me. I saw a couple people, but not anyone I'd known before. 'Who are you people?!' I thought, still frowning. Boy, was I confused.

I paused and thought about all he had said. I started off slowly. "Yes, i too am from the lab...and i have one more question...did something...weird happen to you? Like...something...i dont know...supernatural?" I asked biting my lip. I knew i probably sounded extremely stupid asking this. But i needed to know.
