i have a question?:
if you play as a race that gives an augumented critical of 12-20, then take the improved critical feat, would your critical increase to 3-20 for the chosen weopon(double of 12-20) or would it not stack? just a general question that i do not know because it does not say in the DMG that i have at least, it might in the DMG 2, but i dont know.
so just wonderin whats your opinion on it?

What are the creatures rules? I would love to know what gives 12-20 crit basic XD

a nimblewright.
but i dont want people in my campaign playin as it, i was just wonderin for somethin else.
but its in the monster manual 2 and all it says is that it gets a critical of 12-20. so i dont know if i took improved critical if it would double it or not.

I dunno, I can't find their rules offhand but unless it says they can't take it or they have it then go for it.

The discription of the improved critical feat states that it does not stack with any other effect that increases critical threat range. However, DMG states that the DM has the power to modify the rules to a certain extent. Ultimately it is your decision, but I recommend against it as this combination unbalances the game. Believe me. I have done it before.

what book is that race in? sometimes with an race ability like that has an a few words in it that says that u can not get something or another. look for an fine print in the ability to see if it says anything. if not it is up to the dm. I know the 2 dm's that i have had will not allow it because of that high crtl range. but if the weapons says an * 2 damage it is still an time 2 damage. impor crtl only go for the die roll for the crtl.

u can not play that race. there is NO LVL ADJUSTMENT. or PC ability that say what teh pc get for teh race it is use for an bodyguird for wizards or something like that for the Construction. It has rules for construction the race not for making it as an character. but in the MMI it has rules for that tpye of thing but it's up to the dm.
