well, like the subject says..this is where members can post any poems they have. Here's a poem of my own:

Sonnet of Unsure Hate

Oh, the hate I feel when I see his face,
To think it was once a friendship we shared
To know it was as fragile as a lace
That kept our once friendship together pared

But those words he had to utter still sting
As our friendship broke in two I just died
To think we once had shared such a strong thing
It now just seemed like he had just plain lied

But if our friendship never was to be
I would have never found the thing I love
When I see his face should happy thoughts flee?
Should I be thankful so peace is above?

Some say I should still hate and not let go
But what will I learn from this hatred so?

Feeling kind of awkward, but here's one of mine:

Love and Death

The pains of fate my bleeding heart decides
The soul-bound thoughts that lead me to the knife
Because I know my love is mixed with lies
I make the choice to end my only life

Your picture taints my each and every day
It rends my mind and tears my soul apart
I pray for death to take my pain away
I pray for death to mend my broken heart

I stand here now, holding the bloodied blade
Feeling my vision fading into black
My memory of you begins to fade
As mind and body start to fall off-track

Will you ever love me; even in death
Will my name ever linger on your breath

Hehe...Thanks. biggrin

I had a lot more stuff like it on my flash drive from when I took Creative Writing last year, but I can't find most of the good stuff, and it takes me a while to wring something out of my head.

Uh, this one's kinda weird, but maybe someone'll like it. Free verse, so everyone knows.

Spirals of Time

The past becomes a distant memory once again
Evaporating into the mist of morning’s eyes
The mist that plunges into the grass
To dry in the high noon sun
And come out again under the moon’s luminance

The dark present replaces the past once again
And dims the constantly variable future
Shrouding its beauty from sight
Out of jealousy or fear
But no one can know for sure

Out of the corner of the world’s eternal memory
The brilliant sunshine radiates once again
To bring back the memories of the past
That shine brightly in the dark
So that one can know that the future is still bright

Hey, noob to the guild, but I do have a few songs, and I figure it fals under a poetry deal, so I'll drop a song here and see what you guys think if that's cool with you.

I blame it all you,
You built me up.
I can't believe that you could help me with all that's pent up.
I blame it all on you,
Cuz I'm walkin on water.
Now I don't need your help,
so don't even bother...

I guess...

I don't know what I've got until it's gone, I make another break-up and then I break out into song! (Repeat once more)

I blame it all on you, you broke me down, Now all's inside is this empty town.
I blame it all on you, cuz I'm gonna drown.
Now all I've left is this fool-king's crown.

I guess...

You don't know what you've got until it's gone, you make another break-up and then you break out into song.(Repeat 2 times more)

(singing as if speaking)
But neither do you...

It's about the preogression of a boy into his father, and his father to death, and the boy's children to what he once was.
I though it was moving in a way the words flowed.
The break-up is as if he cant keep a steady woman in his life, making the children resent the boy and the boy resent his father.
