Have anything that you just want to say? A random blah blah blah that is on your mind? It doesn't even have to make sense, and we don't know what it's about. If you think someone is being a dickwad, then write, "what a dickwad." or whatever.

I post on a (mostly) all-womens forum from girls being around 17 and I think the oldest is 29, and this is the most popular thread, I just thought it would be cool to have one here

Post it here. <3

You're lucky, Rami. I'd love to go to Japan.

Busy, busy, busy, run, run run. I'm going to buy a new phone today, I think. I HOPE!

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed -_-. I've calmed down quite a bit now. But I was driving home from the Airport and my iPod (it was $250USD) fell out of my pocket. But I thought I put it in my purse. I went to get it out and it wasn't in there. So I looked around the living room, and on the table, and in the pockets of the pants I wore. And I was starting to really worry, because I've been LOTS of places today. The mall, Walmart, KMart, Home Depot, Airport, Best Buy and the Condo. And I was just thinking, "Oh god, what if I've lost it somewhere." I mean, $250 is something to really sweat about, to me at least. And I bought this with money my grandma gave me, it was money that was left to me when she passed away, so this means a lot to me. And when I told my dad what I was looking for, he goes, "Oh for ******** Sake, you need to learn to take care of your things." But the thing is, I knew it had been in my pocket, so either it fell out of my pocket, or I'd been pick pocketed. So yeah. -_-

It fell out in my car, thank goodness, but it just pisses me off that he has the nerve to belittle me, however he loses things ALL the time, and I help him look for it and I never say snide remarks, but he does it right back to me, whilst sitting on his butt. =/

Uggggggh. Today has sucked so far. Only good thing about it is I get $10 free from Walmart since they screwed me big time yesterday.

Oh wow you dad has a lot of nerve. I would be upset too. Im sorry you went through all that trouble.
You shouldnt shop at walmart! They treat their workers very badly and dont get paid enough.
PostPosted: Sun May 11, 2008 12:18 pm

I used to work at Walmart and I was treated great! I like shopping there because the prices are cheap, their stores are convenient, and they have the cheapest fabric and baby clothes. With the prices of gas and just prices in general, I'd be crazy not to shop at Walmart, it's just more ecofriendly. And I made more working at Walmart than I do working at a daycare changing dirty diapers, plus I got a 30% discount in my field and a 10% everywhere else. So really, they do treat their workers decently, only ones you hear that they treat bad really deserved it most likely. =/ Hate to say that.

However yesterday the cashier didn't give me my bag of things that I needed for tonight. Sure it was only $6 worth of stuff, but it was important things I needed for tonight. I bought it at a Walmart 30 miles away, I was only at this one because I picked up my dad at the airport. I left the bag there and in order to give me a credit, I'd have to travel the 30 miles to the same walmart to get my items or my credit. Can't do that with the gas prices, it's just too much. So after calling three different store managers, I finally got some help. They're giving me a $15 giftcard for the problem, but I'm going to most likely spend some back on my lost items.

Well my dad is a Union Organizer and he deals with places that dont give their workers unions. Overall Walmart isnt good. Yes they have good prices but in a wide view they aren't as good as some people think. I believe that you were treated well at your store maybe because whoever ran your store was good. The whole corparation is corrupt though.

But I dont want to fight over this and make a big mess or anything.

I'm currently employed at WalMart. =S I love it there. I'm treated well, get a great pay. Things have changed quite a bit, I know because my father is a lawyer and has some sittings. It's really hard to judge ALL Walmart stores. =/ And I will agree with Julie. With the way gas prices are, with the way all prices are rising, people are fools NOT to try and save a dollar here and there. I am only 19, I work three different jobs just to make ends meet, and that's with a fiance who referees soccer (and makes GREAT money) and works at a bookstore. If going to Walmart saves me a dollar, than by golly I'm going. I'm a poor, engaged college student who has to play decent volleyball, maintain a B+ or higher, and save money for various trips. To each to her own.

I'm so sick of rain! Tomorrow is my fiance's 21st birthday, I have a feeling tonight will be an interesting night.
