[[ xD This park is huge, just to make it clear. *somewhat based it off the park around here by the ocean* Stanley Park, that is. :B Since it isn't completely clear what state this shop is set in yet, so I'm hoping it's okay. XD; ]]

A small smile tugged at the young woman's lips as she sat on the swings, a book resting on her lap. She had found the day far too beautiful to spend indoors. The sun was beaming brilliantly, and the sky was vast and a solid blue, not a single whisp of a cloud was visible that day. It was time, Aria had thought, to maybe pay a visit to the large park she had loved so much as a child.

Not much had changed, she was happy to find. Trees still surrounded the park, and there was still a trail that lead up into the forest. Pathways led to small gardens, colorful flowers sprouting from the dark soil. Everywhere you looked, there was nature surrounding you.

Taking a deep breath, Aria closed her eyes for a moment, opening them only when she heard the laughter of children. She watched as two children ran up to the swings, before realizing that she was occupying one of them. With a small smile towards them, she surrendered her spot to one of them, deciding that she could sit somewhere else to read instead.

It wasn't so often that she felt calm. Aria was shy, awkward around strangers, and often bogged down or stressed because of her novel. The fact that she took the time to come out to the park that day was a treat for her, especially since she hadn't visited the park since she was a child. 'Mm...I need to learn to relax sometimes, I suppose.' She thought, shaking her head at herself.

It was one of those days that relaxation was a hot commodity, and those who could afford to take a few moment off, found a way to fit it into their schedule. Andrew Walker was one of those people. He, however, didn't have a particularly hectic schedule to deal with, just an important decision he was mulling over.

So, the 28 year old blond found himself strolling along a path in a park he had been at a few times, enjoying the picturesque weather. A pair of unnecessarily expensive sunglasses shielded his blue eyes from the bright sun, and a fresh pack of cigarettes rested in his jacket pocket.

Andrew breathed deeply and sighed with a smile. He began to whistle as he walked. He tilited his head up and closed his eyes, enjoying the warm sun on his face. Unfortunately, this was the wrong moment to do so, as he found himself bumping into someone or something. He caught a glimpse of black hair as he stumbled backwards. Luckily, he managed not to fall completely, saving himself some embarrassment. He turned his attention to the young lady he had walked into.

"I am so sorry," he said, a sheepish smile on his face.

Aria had just turned her head for a moment - just a mere second - when she found felt someone bump into her. Leting out a startled squeak as she stumbled, the young woman windmilled her arms for a bit before she, luckily, regained her balance.

Letting out a small sigh of relief, she looked up at the man, returning his smile with one of her own. It was friendly enough, if not somewhat uncertain. "Ah...n-not at all." She said, waving a free hand - the one that wasn't carrying the book - dismissively. "I should have been more careful myself." After all, this probably wouldn't have happened if she had been paying more attention as well.

She turned dark blue eyes up towards the endless sky. "Besides, I don't think it would be possible for me to be upset on a day as lovely as this." Aria commented, feeling a lot lighter and more cheerful than she usually was. It hadn't even quite hit her yet that she was talking to a stranger, and was speaking without stuttering too much.

...Well, it hadn't hit her yet. Hopefully it'd stay that way.

Content in the knowledge that he hadn't hurt or offended this young lady, Andrew relaxed, slipping his hands into his pockets. He turned his gaze skyward as well and nodded.

"Indeed. Such weather sure does inspire good moods."

He grinned.
"I'm Andrew, by the way."

An odd time for an introduction, but for some reason, Andrew grew uncomfortable when he was in a conversation without knowing the other person's name.

"Mmhm." Smiling, she seemed to lose herself for a moment, watching as a bird flew overhead. It was only when the man introduced himself, did she hastily look back down. "Oh, uh..." Taking a step back, she dipped her head in a small bow.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Andrew." She offered him a small, somewhat shy smile as she stood back up, holding out her hand to shake. Aria then realized - belatedly - that the hand she held out was the one that she was holding her book with. Flustered, she quickly held out her other hand instead, not quite meeting Andrew's gaze.

"I'm Aria." She was starting to feel more like her usual, timid self. Letting out a little sigh, she mentally scolded herself.

'You can't live like a recluse forever.'
