So how many of us all have pets? What sorta pets do you have? Names? Ages? Whatever else you want to share about those creatures we all adore.
Mittens- 10 year old Siamese-Persian mix. I got her for my 11th birthday and she's my baby girl. She's also known as the psycho queen. She keeps perch on my pillow and loves to glare at those who pass.
Baby- 9 year old Siamese-Persian mix. She's my sister's, but my sister gave her to me so she's mine now. She's very shy and true to her name we pushed her in a baby carriage when she was a kitten. She adores loving, but only if she trusts you.
Kat and Rose- My two African dwarf frogs. I got them back in September. I can never keep any of these frogs alive more than a year and a half. These are my two current ones, and Rose is apparently a male, as they um.. participate in activities akin to wrestling, haha.
Now if I include the other family pets there's:
Fiona- Our 3 1/2 year old Beagle. Adorable and loves me. She loves to go for car rides with me 'cause I'm the only one who'll take her. She's named after the Fiona from Shrek because her white marking on her backside kinda looks like a castle.
Mr. Snake- I dunno how long we've had him, but it was a long time ago. And before that my uncle had him and gave him to us. But he's about 4 ft 3 inches long (when last measured in August) and an 8 inch girth. He's pretty tame too.
I know I'm getting two new pets soon, as soon as I get them in the mail. I'm getting two leopard frogs as part of a Steve Spangler science kit. So I'm excited to get them and to watch them grow too. I think I might name them Lorelei and Rory.
So what about everyone else?

I have two dogs!
Squirt is my dog, she's a schnauzer/poodle mix. She was born November 27, 1997 and I was able to get her February 14, 1998 for my 10th birthday (I turned 10 February 9th that year). My dad thought up the name Squirt when we got her, because she was a "'lil Squirt". She likes to lounge around and snuggle.
Lady is my brother's dog, and she's a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix. She was born April 15, 1999. We got her in May, but I can't remember the exact date. I know it was a Wednesday though. I had had Squirt for a year, and my brother and I basically "shared" her. However, I was at softball practice, and my brother was eight years old and seen that the girl who's house was right next to the softball field had puppies that she was giving away. My brother told my mom how much he wanted one, and must have talked about it all night, and the next morning, she told me that tonight at practice, she was going to let Nic pick one of the girl puppies out and it was a surprise. My mom worked at school at this time as a teacher, and stayed after as the detention teacher, so a lot of times, I stayed in my teachers room (mom and her were close) and Nic would come with me. And I remember Nic telling me and Mrs. King (my teacher) how much he wanted one of the puppies. He got one later that night. Lady is the easier going dog, when she lived with Jessi (the girl we got her from) she used to go up and stomp right in front of her. Poor Lady used to be scared of her own shadow. sad She's a little better, but she mostly is one of those loner dogs. She loves to have her belly rubbed though. ^_^
I'll have to get pictures soon. ^_^

We used to have all kinds of pets from birds to mice. but my real childhood pal was Pepper. he was a border/shepperd cross and i got him when i was three. he lived 19 amazing years but we had to put him down in January of 2007 because he had cancer in his snout and because he was so old the vet couldn't do anything for him. On November 4th 2007 Max was born. we got him six weeks later. this is max at 6 weeks Max is a purebred Red Meril Australian Shepperd, even though he doesn't have the Meril marking that are really visible they are on the end of his snout and on his belly. he is technically my mothers dog but really he's the family pet. he is the baby of the house and is spoiled like crazy. he loves to cuddle and thinks he's a lap dog but he's huge now... this is max now.

This is my kitty cat named Pumpkin: She showed up in our yard one day with a sunken in body and little meows that made us fall in love with her. My theory is that she was abandoned and looking for a new family. We took her in and I seriously could not imagine my life without her. I know it sounds silly but I love my pet!
