At my school, the friday after finals and midterms, there's what's called an Undie Run.
This is when students come to school wearing clothes they don't want anymore, and donate what they're wearing to charities, and then run in a large mob around campus in their underwear. This is a charitable event that helps those who are homeless or poor, and it also is a way to let off steam.

I'll be too busy, uh, filing paperwork for the someplaceorother to attend...
I can't imagine participating in such an event in a million years. There was an underwear marathon run in some online game I played, and I had time, but I didn't even participate in that one. ^^;

Yeah, I didn't do it either. Partly because they were running avi-naked in the cold at night, and partly because I am just a little too modest for that. But people have a whole lot of fun!

I'm sure they do. I'm just too afraid to participate, for the same reasons as you. ^^;
I actually read about a lot of events in which I'm afraid to participate. I'd probably get tired partway through, or get lost, or lose interest and start wandering, or not bring enough food, or my cell phone would run out of batteries, or something. I missed last year's Nuit Blanche that way. :/ When it comes to attending events, I am unfortunately more often more made of intentions than actions.
