I was in some other thread called "phalluses in your girl/girl erotica" or something, and when I was reading that, I got reminded about how I read some yuri with dickgirls in it.
Then later, I found out it was also called "futanari"

and I was wondering, what do you think about futanari?

Do you hate it?
Like it?
Don't care?

In fact, I'm not even sure dickgirls in yuri count as yuri.
In my opinion, its more yaoi because, there penises.

I don't care about futa, but I just don't think that it should be called yuri.

That type of thing does not bother me too greatly but at the same time I much prefer females not having rods. I like girls the way they are. I have always found woman to be truely pure, beautful and elegent people while finding men distgusting, brainless, difficult and inssensitive. Giving a female a characteristic such as a d**k takes away from that purity girls have, at least in what ive seen but I can't say I like it or hate it. It just kind of lingers there and takes some of the breathtaking beauty in the art away. Usualy the art is still good enough though that it does not bother me.

Hey now, let's be careful not to slam what anyone else might like. Even if you don't like something, chances are someone else does, and they might be upset.

I don't really care for terms like "dickgirl" and "shemale", personally. "Futanari" translates approximately into "two form" and is kind of a more polite (and common) way to put it.

Futanari is kind of a subgenre of yuri, because those involved really are females--they generally identify as such, and have at least some of the gonadal structures of biological females. There is an extra part or so tacked on, but it could be called yuri in a loose sense. However, it's also kind of not yuri, as it's sort of not really girl-on-girl; it is really its own subgenre of porn. It is definitely not yaoi, because there's really no way you can see it as male on male work. Again, futanari characters usually identify and look like females aside from their genitals, and it is clearly meant to appeal to those who are interested in female bodies and people.

Futa itself can tire me, to be quite honest. The only reason it does so is that it seems overly common in yuri doujinshi. I can totally get into it because hey, it's only supposed to be hot, which it often is. I just don't care as much for characters I think of as solidly female in the canon of a series being turned into kind of not-quite-females. Kind of the same thing as not liking people writing canon characters too far out of character. I think it's kind of like the integrity of the character being compromised.

But, as far as original characters and series, I'm all for it. You like what you like. I enjoy it well enough, so I guess I'm neutral leaning on positive for it. Definitely positive in that whatever you like is fine, given that it's not hurting anyone else, and I really can't see how futanari hurts anyone at all.

I think if its Yuri, then the girls should not have penises... however, thats my own opinion.



That sounds like close-minded opinion. I know girls that are ignorant, disgusting slobs, but that doesn't make me think all girls are like that. You can "find" males as brutish fools if you want to, but I think of us all as human. There are beautiful and elegant males, as well as females. =)

It doesn't do anything for me. Not that hentai does, honestly, but whenever I see futa, I either shut down, or laugh hysterically. It's not something that's easily explained, but to me, it dosen't make sense, or I just can't take it seriously.

Personally, I think it just complicates things beyond my point of enjoyment. If I wanted to watch that combination of parts go at it, then I would watch or look at normal hentai... Although, I enjoy it on occasion depending on my mood. And besides...

I don't really know why one would want that. Someone earlier posted an ignorant thing about men being brainless, yada yada yada. I usually ignore idiots, but that person was right to a degree. The reason I can't just be gay is because it's too hard to find loving, caring males, plus females are too awesome. So why would you want to be reminded of some of the characteristics of males while you look at or watch your yuri/shoujo-ai? I mean, if it turned you away from them, why have that image there that represents what you distaste?

Personally, I find distaste in abhorrent a**l sex. I think it should be between two men who love each other. So I can't find this being something good even in normal girlxguy hentai...

P.S. Brasa - Terror of Death, You really shouldn't be so close-minded. Try giving the occasional male the benefit of the doubt. You might find that some are a bit more sensible and loving, not to mention easy to get along with, than most. I mean, couldn't a guy that believes female love is a beautiful thing be just as awesome as a girl? Maybe not relationship wise due to sexual preference, but as an awesome friend. 3nodding

That would be because futanari characters, aside from the fact that they have hermaphroditic/intersexed/mixed genitalia, are in basically all other ways entirely female--looks, physically, emotionally, identity, everything. They just have a p***s attached as well.

Thus, it is designed to target a female x female-interested audience, though it is definitely a niche genre because not everyone likes to see p***s in their girl x girl pornography.
