Coyote sighed as he clicked the save icon on the computer and sat back in his chair, massaging his aching fingers and wrists as he waited for the file to finish saving. It was about time for a break after all he had been working for... Coyote glanced at the clock for the first time in ages and was surprised to realise how late it was, he'd spent nearly eight hours straight at the computer, no wonder he felt so wrecked. As if on cue his stomach growled at him, reminding him he had neglected his body's needs for far too long. Rising to his feet Coyote stretched his stiff joints as he thought aloud. "I think a take away is in order... Burger? Eh... I think I had one yesterday.. Or was it the day before? Chinese round the corner? Maybe Italian? Oh, Italian!"

The thought jarred something in his head and the image of a certain tall dark haired host sauntered into his imagination. "I wonder what Brad is up to?" A small smile on his lips Coyote left his office to hunt down Brad and see to it the man held to his promise of a date.

Brad would be found in his dorm, still wearing his Host attire, leaning over his desk. His fingers moved swiftly and decisively across one of the many papers sprawled out in front of him, lining with a ruler and making notes to the side of his creation. Indigo eyes blinked and glanced over at the sound of someone at his door, standing and moving over with an impressive stretch to open it.

"Coyote," he rumbled in pleasant surprise, blinking at the young blue-haired man at his door. "I'll be damned. You braved it outside of your office for little ol' me, hmm?" Brad smiled a bit, opening his door to admit the secretary, "Come in. To what do I owe this unforseen delight?" He was still talking as he did at work, but he was honest in his intent with the young man. He was curious as to what the other was doing at his door at all, not yet thinking that Coyote may be keeping the older man to his word.

Coyote was a little disappointed when Brad answered the door in his host outfit, rumour was the man tended to wander his dorm room topless most nights and Coyote had hoped there there had been some truth to them. Hearing Brads comment about braving it outside, Coyote quirked an eyebrow at the tease as he stared up at Brad, before putting on an overly dramatic tone of mock worry and fear. "Why yes Brad! I braved the vast and twisting maze of corridors between my office and your room, in the simple hopes of glancing your magnificent form. And now that I'm here I must ask a boon of you. My Agoraphobia is such I couldn't dare venture beyond to confines of the club, unless I had a tall, handsome and buff hero watching over me~"

Finally Coyote returned to his normal manner and pointed up at Brad as his tone became more demanding. "In other words, I'm hungry and want to go out to eat and you have the good fortune of being my date. Now grab your coat." As he said the last Coyote decided to accept Brads invitation into the room and have a quick look about while he waited for Brad.

His room was almost immaculate; if it weren't for the fact that Brad was standing in it, it would have been easy to overlook as an unused dorm. The only items that seemed to be his own were the papers on the desk. Even the treadmil was no longer in the room.

The man stared at the secretary as he spoke, his smile falling off his face in mild surprise. When Coyote was done, however, he was rewarded with a genuine laugh, a deep sound that didn't often escape him; in fact, he wasn't sure he had laughed at all, not a real good one, since he'd started working at Searan's. Brad rubbed one hand down his face, trying to compose himself as he moved towards his closet. "Just give me one second," he said, his voice full of mirth from his now contained laughter. "I smell like smoke and alcohol, and that's unacceptable when taking out such delightful company on a date."

In true Brad-form, he unbuttoned the vest and tossed it on the chair by his desk, pulling the dress shirt over his head and balling it up before putting it in the hamper by the bathroom. He opted for more dark attire, choosing a dark blue silken dress shirt with a charcol vest, glancing over to Coyote as he started to button the shirt portion. "If you're interested in that place I told you about, we'll want to drive at this hour. Your car or mine?" Brad disappeared into the bathroom for a moment - presumably to add a dab of something that would make him smell more pleasant than an ashtray - before returning to the closet.

He finally slipped on the vest, pausing before giving an irritated sigh and grabbing a dark tie as well. Picking out a coat, he draped it over his shoulder as he fought with his tie, lifting his chin towards the door to indicate they could leave.

Coyote crossed his arms and watched Brad with a smile, waiting for the older man to calm a bit before speaking. "I hope for your sake you were laughing at my rapier wit and not at teh prospect of going on a date with yours truly?" Coyote hadn't heard Brad laugh out loud like that before and it was a little startling, though pleasant, the kind of laugh that was heartfelt. As Brad started to change, Coyote sat on the edge of the bed, ankles crossed and sat back to enjoy the view. Though it was only a short glimpse of his back, it was enough to give Coyote some idea what the rest of Brad might look like and the young secretary was content to let his imagination fill in teh blanks for now. At least until a better opportunity presented itself he thought.

Seeing Brad put on a vest and tie Coyote glanced down at his own simple attire, he was just wearing some plain jeans, a t-shirt and a light leather jacket. Suddenly feeling under dressed Coyote gave Brad a slightly worried look. "This place isn't some kind of high class restaurant is it? If there's a dress code or something I'll have to go change first..."

A bemused grin lit his features as he looked to Coyote. "You have a very interesting way with words, Coyote, I'll give you that." On the question of the dress code, he shook his head.

"Not at all," he chuckled, grabbing his keys off the desk and slipping them into his pocket. "You could call it fancy, but there's no dress code. I'm just trying to look appropriate for the title of buff hero." Brad smiled with thinly veiled amusement, finally finishing with his tie and smoothing it over his chest. His eyes turned over Coyote's attire, shaking his head, "You look great Cai. Casual is best. My casual just happens to be a little sloppy, and I must look good for my date with our charming secretary."

He exited the room, locking the door after they both were out and heading down the hall. Tucking his dress shirt into his slacks as they walked, he continued, "Now, if you want to go to a dresscode dinner, I can arrange that too. But places like that, you usually can't walk into unless your name has been on the big screen." Brad shrugged casually, finally finishing up his dressing with clasping his vest. "Glad I brought the car here and not the truck. That wouldn't be very romantic, would it." He paused, glancing over to the amber-eyed man, "Unless you want to take a Taxi?"

Coyote smiled as he followed after Brad, glad he didn't have to run back to his room to change, he wasn't even sure if he had anything that would do for a formal outing. The smile took on a more devilish cast though as he spoke. "Appropriate for your title? Well in the movies I like the 'Buff Hero' generally runs about in a tattered shirt putting his physique on show for all the world to show. Assuming he isn't a tall barbarian running about in a lion cloth.... Care to change into some thing more appropriate now?"

In response to the taxi question Coyote just gave an indifferent shrug and kept walking. "Up to you, if you plan on drinking it would probably be best we catch a taxi. .... You own a truck?" Coyote gave Brad a sideways glance that conveyed his disbelief, Coyote found the notion of the smooth acting Italian driving around in a truck hard to accept.

An indignant snort escaped the man. "That wouldn't be terribly appropriate for this restaurant, I'm afraid. Maybe I can oblige you some other time if we hit up a fast food joint," he teased Coyote, reaching out to squeeze the young man's shoulder. To the next part, Brad replied automatically, "I don't drink." He added, "You're free to if you'd like. This place has excellent mixed drinks, if you're so inclined." Goodness knows he had been a drinker before, he could testify to how good they had been.

Another expression of amusement rippled over his features, glancing to the blue-haired youth. "Yes, and she's my baby," he sniffed in mock offense. "My sister is using it now, otherwise it'd still be in my possession." He didn't bother to elaborate that it was a very nice 250 with enough comfort to put most luxury cars to shame; he'd let Coyote do his imagining. "If I'm going to run around in a loin cloth, I'm sure not going to do it in the Martin."

Having decided that he'd drive, he lead them both to the garage where staff were allowed to keep their vehicles. He took his keys out of his pocket with a faint jingle, moving towards a gunmetal grey number that was borderline between a sportscar and a luxury vehicle, a two-seater. The nose was long, the cab slanted at the windows and short in the trunk. The back of it simply had a DB9 on it.

He pressed a button on a contraption on his keyring, disarming the vehicle, which only flashed its lights in acknowledgement. Moving to the passenger side, he opened the door for Coyote to reveal the fairly posh interior, smiling lazily.

Coyote smiled slightly as he received the squeeze. "Careful what you say Brad, I might choose to interpret that as a promise and I always hold people to their promises... Pity about the drinking... I don't like drinking alone, oh well." Coyote was silent for the rest of the walk until they arrived at Brads car, there he openly stared in surprise at the vehicle. "This is your car? It's... Gorgeous?" Coyote was at a loss for any better word to describe it. Slowly he walked around it admiring the sleek design before returning to Brads side. "I think I might have to have a conversation with Searan about the wages around here if you can afford something like this.." Taking Brads invitation, Coyote sat down into the passenger seat and admired the interior. "The inside of your car is nicer than my apartment... Some of those customers must be tipping you extremely generously, perhaps I should rethink my choice of career..."

"I've done stranger things than wear a loin cloth," he smiled with amusement. "Talk to me again after a few dates, hmm?"

Brad's smile waned, shaking his head a little at Coyote's exclamations. "This isn't the new model...this is from before my time here," he chuckled very faintly. Truthfully, he hadn't even wanted to buy the thing, but it had been for himself, to rid himself of unwanted inheritance, even if the car was still a constant reminder.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, the man carefully shut the door and moved to the driver's side, sliding into the car with ease despite his height. "It should stand out, they're hand built after all," he commented off-handedly. He'd probably said the same thing many times before. "I'm glad you approve. I hope you find it more accomodating than a Taxi." With a faint smirk, he turned on the car, the motor purring as he put the vehicle in reverse and exited the garage.

"Getting there wont be difficult, but coming back might take a while. With traffic and all," Brad remarked as he turned out onto the street. "Feel free to turn on the radio if you want." He was quiet for a moment, considering something Coyote had said before adding quietly, "I'll have a drink with you if you have your heart set on it. But only one for me." One wasn't enough to get him pissant drunk, as long as he kept to the light stuff, which wouldn't be a problem.

Coyote got comfortable, put on the seat belt and sat back to enjoy the ride, watching Brad the whole time. "Hand made? Well I think that decides tonight's topic of discussion. I want to know what a guy who can afford a car like this is doing working at the club?" Coyote was quiet for teh rest of the trip until Brad mentioned he'd drink too. "That's nice of you to offer, but I don't want you to do it just to make me happy. If you'd rather not drink that's fine and I can survive the night with out a drink. Anyway, I intend to get myself intoxicated on you." Almost as soon as he had said the words Coyote grimaced in embarrassment, then gave Brad an apologetic look. "Ya, sorry. That one was so cheesy it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. It's been a while since I was on a date so you'll have to forgive me if my chat up lines are a bit rusty..." Coyote shrugged and made a half hearted laugh as he tried to brush the incident away. "So how long until we get there?"

Brad chuckled to himself, glancing over at Coyote every so often as he talked. "Work isn't easy to come by in these times," he admitted. "Not that I'm hurting for money just yet, but I'm not very good at being idle, either. Times were tight, Searan saw me and saw potential. Can't say I've regretted it, really." As strange as things had been, as embroiled in every possible rumor that was out there, he didn't dislike what he did, nor the people he worked with. It was somewhat refreshing, actually.

He couldn't help himself. He looked over to the young man with mock surprise. "What? You haven't memorized my file yet? Cai, you're breaking my heart. If you look there, you'll know what my profession is and why it's so hard to find work." Brad left it at that for the time being; either the secretary could ask him out right or he could build on the mystery. Either way was enjoyable for him.

Another startled bit of chuckling laughter escaped him, taking a hand off the wheel to pat Coyote's knee. "Don't use 'em all in one sitting, or we wont have much to talk about next time." Brad could only assume dates would follow after this one, since Coyote pretty much wanted to be with the older man in a way that wouldn't allow one date to be the end of it. That brought him back to his senses a bit more, controlling his smile into something small and passive.

"Ah. A couple of minutes, since traffic is light in this direction." Making a turn, he decided to do his own inquiry; it was only fair, right? "So what appeal does Searan's place hold for someone as sharp as you? Doesn't seem like much of a challenge."

"I have to admit I was tempted to read your file, as well as do a full background check, phone up any blood relatives I could track down and learn your entire life history. But then I thought naw~ Where'd be the mystery then?." Coyote responded with a simple smile before turning his gaze out the window, his eyes turned back though when he felt Brads hand on his leg. Just catching the change in the older mans expression as his smile became more subdued.

At Brad's question coyote shrugged and returned his gaze out the window as he spoke. "It has it's challenges from time to time, but it's a lot more... interesting than my old job. I used to work in a firm of accountants, pay was good and the work was numbers on end, but it was stuffy and strict and I had to wear a shirt and tie everyday. Blegh~" Turning his attention back to Brad Coyote gave him a small smirk. "And besides the looser dress code another perk of Searans is that I get to see handsome men everyday."

He had to count his blessings as he received them, and Coyote not phoning his relatives was one of them. His sister was too near and would definitely pose a problem if some random male called from his place of work asking personal questions. Brad let it go, only nodding a bit before making another turn, bringing them to an area that looked like it was one of the older, but high class parts.

The man snorted, grabbing his own tie and bemoaning, "A shirt and tie? How awful." A vague smirk laced his features as he glanced over to the young man, having no doubt that he was telling the truth. He didn't have time to comment as they arrived at their destination. The building in question was old but very well preserved, clean and tended by staff in crisp suits. The rest of the restaurants on the avenue were of the same quality. Brad stopped a short ways from it near a well lit garage, smiling with a faint, "Just a moment," before getting out of the vehicle while leaving the keys in the car. A vallet was there, who gave a curt nod to the older man as he moved to Coyote's side.

Brad opened the young man's door and offered his arm to his date, giving an honest smile. He seemed a little more energetic, maybe even a little happy to be out and about. "If I might have the honor?" he purred playfully, eyes just a little brighter blue under the street lights.

As the car door was opened coyote looked up at Brad and made a small 'hmph' sound before taking the offered arm, but only to help himself out of the car, once steady on his own two feet, Coyote stuck his hands into the pockets of his jeans. Taking a moment, Coyote looked about himself, at the way Brad had dressed, at the uniformed valets and the upmarket district they were in, then sighed as he looked down at his own outfit again. "For future reference any place in a 4 block radius of this street or anywhere that is attended to by well dressed valets falls under my definition of a 'High Class' restaurant. And I am to be given at least a few hours notice before you take me out so I have time to pull together something that looks at least half way decent. Right now I feel like a young pet being treated by his wealth older lover..."

Coyote sighed again but had a smiled when he looked back up at Brad. "Which in itself wouldn't be a bad thing, except that I don't get any of the perks of being your young lover. Well at least not yet..." As Coyote smiled in a slightly timid manner up at Brad letting the words hang there, until his stomach growled at him and put a damper on the moment. Looking rather mortified, Coyote spun to look towards the restaurant and cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well we can talk about that sort of thing in the future, after we deal with the more immediate problem of getting me some food before I collapse from hunger..."
