That day was That day the Lady of Shallot cursed her country and family, not only herself. The Lady of Shallot's family had been cursed, and all women were brought to the tower and locked up, for if they were to gaze on the capital, chaos and death would fall over the country. The Lady of Shallot pleaded with her father, and was able to gaze at the city through a mirror, but on one bright day, she dared to look through the window, and so the curse was brought upon the land.
The Lady of Shallot, of course, died. But those of her family still lived. And now they were cursed to transform into an animal reflecting their inner self when their emotions got out of control.
And her land was cursed soon after, and it was a terrible disease which came to be known as the Black Plague.
Her family was immune, but now it was to witness the death of the world.

London, England, 1519, 200 years after the fall of the Lady of Shallot. The family, for hopes of destroying the cursed gene, but to no success. Some of this new generation of Shallots have found each other and hope to find a cure for the curse and the terrible disease. but as they haunt the corners of England, are they the only ones looking for the cure, or are others trying to take them out?

bio: Ashling is from a distant branch of the Shallot family tree, so she has very little connection to genetically to anyone except by means of the curse. She is from a family living in Ireland, so many people think little of her, but she is determined to break the curse. Her mother was a descendant of the Lady of Shallot's brother, Elliot.

bio: Demetri is a direct desasentant of Elizabeth. She was born into a wealthy family but they soon died when the plague hit them. Even though she is young, she is still treated like royalty but sometimes hates it. She knows that she can transform midway into a bat but doesn't know about the Shallot curse that runs through her vains.
personality: She can be a little stuck up and snotty but is a really sweet girl once you get to know her.

bio: Li is a direct desendent of Cain and a misteress of his. Her family was killed by a fire when she was 9. this left her all alone and thieving on the streets London but for only 2 years. She soon left and found herself as a forest bandit. She left the gang at 17 and has been travleing for the past year.
personality: Love Mischif. She Is a very livly person and quite a beliver in fate. She knows of the curse and of her desent but doesn't think much of it. She has alot of motivation for 2 things stealing, which she greatly enjoys, and food which she almost enjoys just as much.

A young girl wearing a black hooded cape ran down the street, bumping into a few people. She looked around and saw Ashling and quickly blended in next to her as four men ran past her. "She couldn't have gotten far. We need to get the princess back safetly." they said as they kept running. Demetri watched them leave and sighed as she took down her hood part way, letting her silver hair fall out a bit. "That was close." she sighed.

Demetri looked up at her. "hush. Its hard enough coming out here like this." she said. "There trying but will not succeed." she said as she looked to see that they were gone. "You have probaly heard of me then, my name is Demetri, but call me sia." she said quietly. "But if you dare say that louder than it needs to be, I won't hesitate to have them toss you in jail." she said.

Demetri glared at her. "I could also tell them that you were trying to take me away. My word goes above yours." she said. "This is why I hate grown ups, they try to do everything possible to make them look like the good guy." she said. "How are we the same?" she asked.

Demetri looked up at her suprised. "Your the first to actually know that without me telling you." she said. "Yes I do, an animal. Im guessing you have one too." she said as she looked at her.
