All that was seen was a great diagonal slash, instantly dissipating the tiny shadow heartless around the girl.

"Ahhg, damn little things don't know when to quit these days do they. Every single time I take this path, their scrambling about. What??"

In the middle of his rambling, Jecht hadn't noticed the girl. His voice was that of a rough tone. You could tell he had his share of alcohol in his days. Heck it was Zanarkand though, freedom of anything. The torn scarf whooshed around as he jerked to the side noticing the young girl. His muscles were tightened up and sore, being that he had just came from a blitzball game.

"Wha....What a kid like you doing around these parts. Its dangerous around here. Summoners should at least have guardians as their sole protection if their to take the pilgrimage to High Summoner, but you don't look like a summoner, now do you...? So kid, whats your Story? If you're not a summoner, then you should at least form a party."

Jecht said throwing the large blade on the back of his shoulders.

All the man could do was give a nice rough chuckled followed by a lazy sigh. Jecht wasn't the least bit of intimidated by the young girl and her overgrown sword, however he did find it cute for a kid such as herself to challenge the great legend of blitzball.

"Here kid, take this with ya. Eat up and stop cryin. You remind me of that spoiled runt of mine. I'm known as Jecht. Jecht of the Zanarkand Abes. "

Jecht said tossing the girl his lunch that he was suppose to eat after his game against the Luca Goers. Always cryin. It never fails. Now gett outta here and go play somewhere.

"Word of advice kid, you better be ready to use that thing when pointing it at people. It aint cool. By the way, I've seen a spiky haired blond guy with a sword just like it."

The minute the blue blade was released from the buster sword, Jecht's had connected with it just as fast. It was now a struggle of which could exert more force. As a veteran of fighting, the blue energy was overpowered and sent back towards the girl with ease. However, Jecht did receive a cut on his shoulder from where the particles from the energy itself scattered once he deflected iit. Despite that, Jecht didn't even notice the cut. It had would become a small scar amongst the many scars amongst his body. He was body hardened, and it would take a lot more than a simple slash of energy to take him out.

"So thats how we're gonna have it eh kid. I won't go easy on ya."

Jecht said now moving rapidly to the side and then reappearing in front of the girl with the blade back at over his shoulder. He didn't have time to play games with children these days, so he wanted to get the job done as soon as possible so that he'd make it back to the team. With a great thrust and heave, the ground itself broke away into the air. Many pieces of rocks and debree were sent flying towards the girl in various sizes from tiny pebbles to rocks the size of a human's head.

Kaiya would now find Jecht's right hand firmly wrapped around her wrist, yanking her entire form from the consuming darkness. It was just as always, every time a person opened their heart to the darkness, it was to gather more powerful. The darkness beneath girl was swirling around like an oily whilrpool, sucking anything and everything that touched it. With another great heave, the girl was pulled out from the darkness and sent rolling to the ground. Before she would even lift her head, she'd find Jecht's broadsword thrusted into the ground in front of her face as if to warn her.

"Well now kiddo, I saved yer life again today. Aint I nice guy."

Jecht said looking down upon the girl. His right hand on his waist while cracking his neck to the side lazily.

"Any more surprises you'd like to reveal........"

Darkness seeped back into the ground just as rain did at the end of the day. Everything went clear and the flowers around the too were standing tall, blooming as ever. Zanarkand was Jecht's homeland, and he'd do anything to protect it.

"I didn't save you kid. I saved my Zanarkand. I lost it once, and I won't lose it again to some kid who wants to drench her heart in darkness. Who knows what kind of recipe the darkness would have cooked up with your body and heart mixed with it. If you want true power, you should form a party with two others. Thats when you'll find that your power is heightened. When many hearts are bonded together, so is their power. The darkness of the Void will be coming to Spira once again, this time I'll be ready. I have my friends. Will you be ready when the time comes? Seek out a party and develop a bond with them, then you'll understand."

Jecht said sitting down on nearby broken piece of concrete that was broken off a ruined tower. Laying his head back, Jecht glanced into the sky.

"I wonder what that runt's been up to these days. Probably crying as always."

Jecht said to himself while giving out a slight chuckle.

"Rather you choose to take the advice or not kid, the truth'll still stand where it is. Don't come crying once the Void vacuums that little dim thing you call a heart."

Jecht said picking at the girl. He was still glancing into the blue sky, not even noticing the gesture the girl shot at him. Jecht was a vulgar man himself, things like that he'd grown used to. In fact, it was part of his nature as well.

"If you're looking for a way this world girl, you're headed the wrong way. Kingdom Hearts watches over every world, but finding it is another ball game. You'll never be able to find it here in Spira. For starters, you can head to the Rail Station and maybe you'll find out something somewhere else. I've no idea myself where that thing is."
