The second district is the most violent one being that it has the most heartless activity. To the east of the Second District is the door to the Third District which it seems to be in an alleyway. The door back to the First District is to the north of the Second District. The Second District also has a water fountain that is right under the walkway of from the door to the First District. There is also a hotel here which has three basic rooms which are the Red Room, Green Room, and the Blue Room. There is also a clock tower in the Second District that is right across from the door to the First District. The roof tops are also able to get ontop of even though the rooftops to each house and building are to hight to jump to you can get to them from ladders though.

Adriel awoke to the blood-red walls of his hotel room. Yawning, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and got out of bed.

You know, the voice said, they say sleeping in a red room will drive you mad.

"I'm sure you would know." Adriel muttered, pulling his shirt on, then lazily donning his trench-coat. He began to stretch, readying himself for his morning exercises. Three months I've been here, he thought to himself. Three months since that day, and still not a single clue, not a single lead on what i should do. I swear, if nothing happens soon, I'm getting out of this place to see what else I can find. With that, he walked out on to the balcony to his room. A smirk formed on his face, as he summoned Fayte, and jumped off, driving the keyblade into the skull of a shadow.

He ran through the streets, cutting down the heartless as they appeared, on his way to the first district, where he would buy himself some breakfast. A shot of blizzard just grazed his leg, making it burn with what felt like frostbite. He hadn't noticed the Blue Rhapsody in front of the door.Damnit!!, when did that thing get in front of the door!? The heartless sent another blizzard his way. Adriel sprang forward, jumping over the magic blast, and pointed his keyblade at the heartless, casting fire. The Rhapsody died instantly, and Adriel landed where it was just a moment before, collecting the health orbs and munny it dropped.

"I have no idea why heartless carry munny," Adriel said, laughing. "But who cares, I have cash for breakfast!" With that, he stepped into the First District, and headed for the cafe.

Adriel ordered a bagel and cream cheese, and a vanilla cappuccino, then grabbed a newspaper off the rack near the counter and sat down at his usual spot. He sipped his drink, taking a bite of the bagel every now and then, as he skimmed through the Traverse Times.

You know, kiddo, in all honesty I've got to say I have this weird feeling. Something big is happening.

"Oh, really?" Adriel said under his breath, trying not to attract attention. "That's weird, I thought my world being devoured by darkness was an everyday thing. Huh."

No, really. I mean something really big. There are people showing up, more boys and girls with special weapons just like yours.

Hm...Adriel thought to himself. I wonder what that could mean.

He continued to skim through the paper, until an article caught his eye.

Quote:
Trouble in Twilight

Heartless population in Twilight Town is at a record high. Since Thursday, dark portals have been appearing all over town, realeasing droves of the heart-thirsty beasts.

"These stupid little black things keep making a mess of things!" says Seifer, self-appointed head of the town's Disciplinary Committee. "How can we keep everything in check with these things running around?"

"Yeah, y'know?" says fellow member Rai."It's like, how are we supposed to keep everything organized if, like, these things keep attacking us, y'know?"

"Annoying." agrees the third member, a young woman who would not give her name.

Town officials believe...........

"Well well, it looks like I've found my next destination." Adriel said, a slight smirk on his lips.

Sena sat in her small apartment in the second district, her hair still down around her shoulders in it's usual morning mess. She brushed it back gently, her eyes drooping due to yet another sleepless night, dreaming about those wicked heartless. Her blue eyes were silent and lifeless as she proceeded through her morning ritual, washing her face, sliding on her dress then belt, shoes, weapons, one step at a time. She put her hair up last, wanting to mke sure it was perfect and wouldn't get ruined in the movement of getting the other items on. She made her bed, grabbed an apple off her corner desk and tied a ribbon around her finger to remind herself to do something. The ribbon had been sitting at her bed side reminding her to put it on in the morning so she didn't forget something then but she'd been going through with that same ribbon every day for weeks on end, she couldn't remember even what it was for anymore, but she hoped that wearing the ribbon would help her eventually remember what it was. It couldn't have been work, that was to natural to forget, but there wasn't much else she could remember that she'd ever forgotten.
With the knot on her finger and everything else in order, she headed out the door, her silver hair bobbing a bit despite being held up by the clip at the back of her head. She lived across the square from the hotel and though there wasn't far to get to the first district, there were plenty of heartless to get past. Being a bit more of a passifist, Sena jumped onto the ledge, walking around the heartless by walking that ledge then cutting the corner with a slight jump. That was not one of her better lands. Her foot slipped and she barely managed to catch herself, her finger tips grasped the edge. She reached her other hand up and grasped it in both hands before swinging against it, using her feet to push against the wall. She pushed up higher, like a pendulum hitting a wall and gaining momentum from her push, until she flipped over, her feet landing on the walk way. She ran straight for the door immediately, jumping up to avoid the frosty chill of a blizzard attach from a Rhapsody in front of the gate. She shrugged and made her way into the first district.
Once she was into the one area of town that wasn't over ruled by heartless, she slid down the banister on the stairs that led to the center square by the cafe. She dusted herself off, checked her hair and made sure she looked completely composed before she walked into the cafe for breakfast.

Walking casually down the streets of the third district. Shard had a laid back expression about him that told all he hadn't had a care in the world, but what the world had in store for him each oncoming day. He had shades that hung before his eyes with a tooth pick hanging from the side of his mouth that he switched from side to side. "Once I get to the shop I guess I'lll....." Before he new it, suddenly a Soldier Heartless sprung from behind him, its metal helmet bopping around madly as it came down upon him. With a swipe from its claws, Shard was sent back a few feet, grazing his feet into the ground in an attempt to stop his momentum. "With a quick draw, he then brought his Gun in which he refers to as the "Razor" to his side shooting at everything in sight but the Heartless. "Damn, I really need to brush up on my aim."

He then shot more magic shells at the heartless, but the little fellow scampered around from side to side and swiped Shard in the face which sent him flying on his back. Laying on his back and slightly raising his head up, the heartless was now looming over him in the air coming down for another strike. "And this is where our little adventure friends little fellow." With five bursts of magic rounds from the his gun, the heartles was pieces of armor were shattered from four different sides of its helmet followed by the fifth magic shell which pierced straight through the middle and finished it off. In mid air, the Soldier Heartless dispersed into a splash of darkness. "Damn, for some reason their getting even more aggressive which each coming day." Shard rubbed his head continuously while grunting, "Damn little runt really hit a number on me and caught me by surprise." Getting up, he dusted himself off and headed to his little shop which was located in the first district behind the accessory shop.

Before Sena would be able to make it to the cafe, she would now find herself surrounded by dark mist building up around her and constantly gathering. The mist around her was so thick that nothing could be seen outside of it. To others from the outside it would seem as if a giant ball of darkness had clutched and concentrated in the middle of the first district. With two giant arms that shot out from both ends followed by the torso down to the legs, emerged the Darkside Heartless. Its head shaking around the black dread like hair that hung from above like tentacles of a snake lashing out. Looking down upon Sena with its enormous beady yellowish eyes, the Heartless then raised its hand high above its head and brought it down upon Sena with a force strong enough to release her heart instantly from her body. As this happened, the darkness from the mist began to spread outwards more, causing shadow heartless to scamper around towards the cafe where Adriel had been. As ate, he would find what had looked like a moving black sea of oil approaching his direction.

Sena saw the darkess as it closed around her. There were ways out, that was sure to be true, she just had to find out how. As the shadow built around her, she moved, jumping back out of the way with a flip just before the hand slammed onto the ground. Another missed footing on the landing left her on her butt, rushing to get to her feet once more. Her hair was falling from it's bobbing place a top her head but she didn't care, there was a much, much larger problem at hand. Her blue eyes frantically looked for aid, hoping that someone would come to her rescue in her struggle. She wasn't much of a fighter and fighting such a heartless was not an easy thing to begin with. She bit her lip, pulling herself to her feet, her knees holding a nervous shake. She didn't have much choice, without a good weapon she wouldn't stand a chance against this thing. She reached her right hand forward, placing her left hand on the back of it. Her lips quivering, she muttered her way through the magic casting. Her hands moved to the sky swiftly, her left hand sliding off as the finale of the word escaped her lips.
"Blizara." Ice shot forth toward the heartless, to weak to do enough damage to it but it was stronger then she could have initially hoped for. It was a huge gamble but she'd have to take what she got. That one shot would hopefully distract long enough for her to get to some help, though she couldn't be sure. Not bothering to waste another second of her precious time, she kicked up her feet and ran, jumping the ledge beside the steps without a moments hesitation. She glanced back over her shoulder to the Darkside heartless but did not slow or stop. She was determined not to fall victim to any heartless attacks this early on, before she could get a chance for a big adventure.

((edit... omg, I don't know what's happening to me but when I have to go back and change from an attack I don't even have to one I do, something is getting my brain!!! GAH!))

Aimlessly wandering about, Adrias found himself in the second distrace in his grand quest to find the ever so wanted BOOZE! Unfortunately fate had other plans. There he stood, a look of extreme displeasure as he saw the orb of shadow there "Oh come on!" He yelled into the sky as if the gods themselves were doing their damnedest to keep him sober. "You know what, hell no! no chance!" He turn on a heel and begin quickly marching away, shouldering his hammer, at least he tried to. He could get no more then a couple steps before just stopping "you know, I thought for sure I took care of that whole 'good conscience' thing" With that he turned on his heel once more, breaking out into a dead run with everything that he had. "I better get something out of this, god willing I will kill someone if not!" He yelled out again, as to who or what, who knows, the man is pissed. Running with everything he had, he bore straight into the shadowy orb only to come to a dead stop upon seeing the Dark Side. "ah crap...stupid good conscience is going to kill me" Taking a deep breath, choking up on his hammer he pointed at the Dark Side "Oi! you! yea! your with a face that would make your own reflection cry! Get over here! I am Adrias Lodoss and I am going to Kick. Your. a**!" With that he flipped off the Dark Side with a big grin, taking a side stance as he set his hammer across his shoulders.

The chunk of ice had smashed into the Darkside's face, causing it to swife around the diamond dust like particles in a frenzy of swatting and sending gusts of wind passed the girl. The Darkside now had two foes to deal with. Indeed the Darkside had taken a direct blow from blizzara, however this was not enough to pull down a beast of enormous mass. One blacksmith and a young girl. Its beady eyes more focused on the girl while from part of the mist, minor Heartless would shoot out from it. All the chunk of ice had managed to do was piss the Darkside off, and now it was angry. Raising both of its hands into the air this time, the darkside crashed its hands into the ground, resulting in a shockwave that boomed from both ends and now headed towards where Adrias and Sena fought it. But this was not it. No, the Darkside extending its hand like a snake squirming through the darkness and lunged its hands in a the old man Adrias in an attempt to grab and squeeze the life force out of him.

"Tch. That all?!" Adrias raised up his hammer high with both arms, his eyes narrowing as he yelled "Spirit of the Divine Flame! EMBRACE!" With an explosion of light, his hammer became wrapped up in and explosion of fire and light which then spread down across his body. "now then...let me show you the specialty of my particular craft" Crouching low, Adrias bound up high, avoiding the initial assault of the shock wave. There in the air, his body hung, both hands still gripped tightly around his hammer. "Final Blow! Resonance!" In that moment, his body quickly began to circulate his energy into his hammer, which would then amplify it and send it back into his own. Again and again his body circulated this every mounting force of energy until his body felt as though it was going to burst into flames itself. "Yo! give my regard to that old b*****d!" In that moment, he plummeted down, at the massive darkside, channeling everything he had right into his hammer. At the moment of being filled with all that energy, the hammer itself changed. The head itself grew several times its normal size all while giving out a piercing light. Adrias had every intent to put this battle away right now.

As Adrias dashed away with the enormous hammer of light at hand, Darkside then pummeled its way towards Adrias full speed ahead, the ground now tearing asunder underneath its feet. Its dreads lashing like out violently like a lock of angry snakes. At this point, it was either Adrias or the Darkside now and from its body shot forth 10 shadow heartless that scampered forward towards Adrias as the enormous Darkside neared him. Suddenly it slashed a wave of three slashes of dark energy towards Adrias that tore through the ground just as a claw would.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 01, 2008 6:50 pm

For what reason the massive heartless decided to attack the ground around it escaped Adrias, but he was not going to let this opportunity slide. With a great and forceful roar, he brought the massive hammer down atop the Darkside's head. With a massive impact, a shock wave was released across the area, rays of light pierced out from the hammer into the Darkside, skewering its body from top to bottom "BECOME THE LIGHT" Adrias's voice boomed out again as the Dark Sides body quickly began to shatter from the grand assault of light "Tell that old b*****d He will not have me!" And with that he quickly brought his hammer up again and brought it down hard atop the Darkside, it's body shattering into particles of light from the impact of the hammer. Dropping quickly to the ground, Adrias stumbled for a moment, the assault itself draining him, but with the source of assault gone, the heartless of the area slowly withdrew, not wanting to risk a confrontation with the old craftsman. Adrias slowly shouldered his hammer again, turning his back and heading off for the railstation again, he did not think it safe to stay here any longer, especially after that particular stunt. "Damn it, all I want is a drink..."
