The Outpost
Several miles south from the main Brotherhood base is a small compound in one single underground structure referred to by locals as the Market place.
This compound is a small Brotherhood outpost set up as a local gathering point for the town merchants to trade there wares with one another without having to risk traveling the open wastelands for to long.
The outpost it self was used as a resupply station for brotherhood soldiers traveling further south, but when the local Towns and villages joined the brotherhood the outpost was re-fitted and used as a Market and local gathering point for the locals easing there travels and giving the Brotherhood convenient access to supplies such as food and other goods which the villagers wish to trade for medical supplies and other various goods, and a local recruitment office for where the Brotherhood head hunters work locating and collecting new recruits from the surrounding towns and villages.
The base it self is nothing more then a large steel plated Garage door leading into an underground Plaza with a few commendations for the local Merchants and a security office housing around fifteen Brotherhood soldiers and one paladin at all times.
The Outposts outer Defenses consist of a small electrical fenced area circulating the entrance and four automated turrets with the directive to kill any non brotherhood members when activated. On top of the Entrance into the Outpost is a small tower able to house five soldiers at a time equipped with four M60 Machine guns pointed in each direction(North,West,East,South) and one small locker housing ammo for the weapons.
Recently the Outpost has undergone heavy construction, adding a larger perimeter to allow a small portion of settlers to move in within the brotherhood walls. As an added security percussion an entrance checkpoint has been erected forcing all incoming travelers to identify them selves and declare any goods they bring into the plaza.
The Outpost it self is usually teeming with life and activity and is a favored gathering point of Brotherhood soldiers who wish to enjoy them selves as several small home made establishments have been erected using wooden planks and sheet metals to create crude shops.
Some of the more Reputable establishments include which the Brotherhood Recommends are.
-Sal's Bar : A nice little establishment built by a man named Sal Kincher and his son Joshua, the bar it self is leased to him by the brotherhood, as he uses one of the many excess barracks littering around the underground base that is no longer in use by the brotherhood.
(Where he gets his booze from is still a mystery currently being looked into ninja )
-Sasha's Place : A young Mechanic by the name of Sasha runs a small crappy looking shed, where she deals in mechanics and a repair man, selling old car parts and other junk, she's also good at taking 'things' apart and putting them back together and for some reason making them work better. And she has a knack for finding rare parts which has proven useful in the past.
-The Slush Pit : Not a very nice establishment, but a decent one!, the man running the place is called Greg and his "establishment" is a well known place among the less "friendly" inhabitants. We recommend to avoid it all together unless your not afraid to get a little roughed up, in which case they have good booze for a reasonable price, be warned as the inhabitants have shown a severe dislike for Brotherhood Members in the past. The Bar it self is built out of wooden planks and a few spare sheets of metal and is housed outside of the Brotherhood's fenced area and so the Brotherhood Laws don't apply so be warned.
-The Road Side Inn: The Inn is a Brotherhood Barracks leased to a man Henry Adams and his Wife Melissa, Together they run a small bed and breakfast offering lodging and food to travelers during there stay.
-The Silver Bullet: The Bullet is a local Gun shop / Gun smith owned by Malcolm The Ghoul who sells and trades various weapons and ammunition to Caravan's and Guards and Travelers, while his weapons wouldn't even get close to matching it self with Brotherhood standards, he has been known to on occasion to carry a decent weapon or two in excellent condition or good spare part or other accessory.
-Crazy Dan: Dan runs a local thieves den(Old 80's slang name for an underground Gambling den), not much to say about the establishment. Built out of a large tent and a series of different gambling tables and roulette and other games. He uses his own Casino currency, while gambling is not forbidden by Brotherhood laws and decrees it is still frowned upon and active Brotherhood members are not allowed to gamble during active duty.
-The Hat Trick: Is a local brothel run by a older woman going by the name of Rose, There establishment is a small shack built out of sheet metal and an old bus, outlining there establishment is several smaller tents and huts.
Brotherhood members are forbidden to enter this establishment while on duty, the punishments are severe.
