I have a variety of strange pets. Okay, I've only got three. One cat and two dogs. But they do some amusing things.
First is my Jack Russell. He is NOT like other Jack Russells. He will not chase an animal underground, or eat a cat, or anything of the sort. He will make weird noises, though. He doesn't bark. He squeals. We're not exactly sure if he's really a dog, or if he's some odd mutant.
My Border Collie/German Shepherd is very cute. He's about a year old now, and he's already had some strange experiences. When we first got him, he could fit in one hand. Now he's bigger than the Jack Russell. ^^
He was bitten by our neighbor's dog recently for sticking his nose through the fence. I was kinda hoping he's have the pink spots on his nose for the rest of his life. Sadly, they faded into black. His face does look a bit lopsided, though. He's got a white spot just above his nose on his left side. It's very cute.
My cat is evil. She's about 14 now, and she's a very smart cat. She will go out of her way to tease the dogs. She'll ignore them as they go after her to get them off guard. Then they'll just walk by later and she'll swipe at them. She's batted at them several times, enough to scare the puppy, but she has never clawed at them. It's very amusing to watch them.

LOL! My animals are similar. I have one dog and two cats.

Button is half Lhasa Apso half Cocker Spaniel. She is about 4 years old now, and is still a pain in the rear. She truly believes she is a human child, and loves the attention. If she doesn't get her way, she used to chew, but now she just pukes. xp She's still adorable and I wouldn't have her any other way...well....maybe a little less rambunctious...

Teysa is a white with black spots cat. She is about 2 now. One of her brothers looked *EXACTLY* like a Dalmatian. It was awesome! Teysa is a bit on the aggravated side at the moment as we just moved and got a new kitten. For the first week she hid herself upstairs at our old place. Now she is highly amusing. She plays with the kitten until she notices someone watching! She will sniff the kitten then swat at the top of her head (looks like she's patting the kitten on the head!).

Charsi, the new kitten, is a grey kitten. She is about 10 weeks now. She's quite the attention monger and the gamer. She plays Diablo II with my fiance, Rhesus, and she sits on our shoulders like a parrot (Teysa used to do this when she was that small too!). She loves to sleep, but she loves to chase Teysa's tail too. Its amusing, because I will sit and watch Teysa walk around the apartment (now a one level) and see Charsi following behind her trying to swat at her tail. Charsi also thinks she's a dog and will run up to the door when we come home or leave. She even eats Button's food! rofl

I love odd animals. They're so cute. ^^
My dogs are extremely wild if ANYONE goes by the house. It doesn't matter who it is. That's why I'm glad we don't live on a busy street. My Jack Russell thinks he deserves to be spoiled... if you sit on the couch with food, he come right up to you and try to take it out of your hand... ^^'

Can't say bear is odd. He is ok when it comes to being a guard dog, lets us know when the neighbors have visitors, or when the pizza man arrives.
And is more than willing to stare down an intruder. But when it comes to kids, he wants to play. My nephew and he use to have play dates where they chased each other through the house and back yard, and if he hears the neighbors little girl he immediately stops barking and whimpers to go meet her.

He also does this head tilting thing that makes him look as if he is currious or trying to figure something out. And he does it at the most apropriate times.

Sidia is just anti social. Doesn't like my hubby, don't blame her as he isn't a cat person. She comes to me when she wants attention or needs me to put more food in her bowl or change her litter. Sometimes I think she tries to say "goodnight" as when I go to lay down she comes up to the bed side and peaks at me, meows until I roll over to her and acknowledge her, then she goes away.

I suppose I can't exactly say they're my pets, but my aunt's cats are extremely weird. She has a cat named PK (short for psycho kitty. Seriously) who claws at your hands for attention. PK has a bob-tail. It's cute. She also has Diego. Diego is a very nice cat except you can't let him lick you. In the words of my aunt, "Lick, lick, lick, CHOMP!"
She has a Labradoodle (yes, I said Labradoodle.) who is very cute. She grew really quickly. I saw her one Christmas and she was about the size of the Jack Russell. The next Christmas, she was about the size of a Lab. I didn't think it was her at first. She chews on EVERYTHING, but I guess that's normal puppy behavior.

i have a pomaranium, that makes his own bed. he has a dog bed, which he fluffs every morning, and every night. no one tought him to do that.

hehe it's instinct to freshen up the bedding a bit and make a type of nest.
Bear does that with hubby's blankets when hubby leaves for work. kind of annoying if I'm still trying to sleep, but funny to watch. Bear burrows under the blankets, rolls around and then curls up. Occasionally he will use hubby's pillow as well.

My Cat has been a bit more of a nusance though. Got her spayed. Now all she does is gorge, then throw up. I've had to restrick the amount of food I place out (something I've never had to do before) only to have her meow that she is hungry and wants more a couple of minutes later. If I don't, she raides bear's bowl or goes into the garbage (never use to do that either) kind of sad to see cry

I know exactly how you feel! We had to get my cat spayed because she had a uterus the size of a small dog. She started gorging on food after that. She will also eat my dog's food if she doesn't get any food. Its hard to stop her to because we aren't home and our dog has gotten old so now he can't eat big peices so he gets the small ones.

I have a beagle named Fred who is the cutest thing you have ever met 3nodding He is 14 now crying It makes me sad to say his age. He is still like a pup though! I walked him today for 20 minutes in the freezing cold, and when we got home, we went out back and chased each other around for another 10 minutes outside! He really doesn't show his age as much as you would think a 14 year old dog would! The only thing really is that the fur on his face has gone completely gray and white, and his eyes are starting to fog up just a bit.

After that comes my two personal pets, Edward and Diego. Edward is a betta and a gift from my boyfriend after I had gone camping. He is a year old now (since I have had him) and is a very lively and happy little guy! I squishes him ti death heart )

Diego is a very .... how should I say this? cautious (I guess) leopard gecko. He doesn't really like me much, even though I feed him and keep him warm and water him, and give him treats once in a while. He bums me out a little but I have learned to just deal with it. When I talk to Edward, I always tell him what a nuisance Diego is. Edward bobs up and down and listens to my banter, while Diego just sits in his tree and ignores me.

I love me pets, can't you tell?

my dog is funny. all he will eat is italian food. although i am slightly worried about that, because if he eats too much pasta, and what not, he could become diabetic.

my dog is starting to show his age. he is turning 18 soon, and he is a palmaranium, who had been choked by his old masters. he sleps pretty much all day, unless someone wakes him up, but i am thinking he should make it to at least 18. i think he is two months away. i also have two turtles. they are both slider turtles. one is amelia, and one is john. my sister just put a video of them up on youtube. they both have birth defects. one has a hole in her shell, and the other is a unique color, but they are incredible. heart

I have a cat who thinks he's a dog. He chases his tail, drinks out of the toilet, eats dog food, plays fetch, he LOVES chewing on shoes, he is a very strange kitty.
