OMG My school is during High School Musical last year...it makes me wanna break something >_<
In my opinion HSM is THE WORST musical EVER and is a disgrace to the Disney company. It has a terrible plot(plus it's a total rip-off of the DCOM Eddie's Million Dollar CookOff), terrible lip-syncing, and just plain annoying actors and characters. it makes me wanna rip my ears off <_<
and what was really annoying was some stupid little junior or sophmore was talking about call-backs for adutions and she's like "omigawd, high school musical is just like reallife. They have callbacks in it and we're having callbacks" ---- ORLY?
yeah...I just needed to rant

Yeah, that and Hannah Montana. XP High School Musical just seems like something that Middle schoolers would watch and like because they would think that that sort of stuff actually goes on in High school.
Now, I haven't seen it but I did here a song from it that sounded like there where two people who fell in love and they sounded as if they were soul mates or something. I can tell you right now that it is a rare thing for people to fall in love in high school. To me, high school romance is completely pointless.

Hah, saying the HSM movie sucked would be blasphemy to this senior at my high school. Seriously.
I've never been able to sit through the whole movie and actual watch it. I sat through the second one, but my back was turned and I was on the computer. xD Zac Effron was kinda cute, but his acting made my heart frown. So did the rest of the cast, except for the actor who played Ryan. He was the only one I liked at all.
I really love the stage production of HSM. This new theatre company did the production as their first production and it was awesome. The performers were actual good as opposed to the movie's "I've got the looks and generic sound, what else do I need?" performers. Except Ryan of course.

Awww I really like the HSM it draws me to it(I can't give you a really reason Why I like it)! But I really like Corben Blue so sorry it doesn't annoy me and looking forward to the movie comming out in the theaters!!!

The first HSM movie was really good and instantly became popular. But because it became popular, Disney decided to make a sequel......and another sequel and another sequel (HMS 4 is now planning)..................... I think that's when, in my opinion, they ruined it. It's too much!!!

I LOVE musicals, but HSM was the worst EVER! I HATED IT! It was a disgrace to the Disney name and the worst thing EVER! High school is NOT like that, they act like 5 year olds.
I am a big fan of musical movies and i hated HSM. i wanted to rip off my arm just so i had something to throw at them!!!!! D:<

HSM is the kind of movie that shows only the good side of high school (you know the "ideal" kind), but I think some of the numbers were pretty catchy. I can't say whether I like it or not, because it depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes I find it's TOO MUCH because it's everywhere!

Thought they were pretty good, not really worthy of the Disney name though. Nowhere near worthy.
The rabid fandom for it is pretty ridiculous aswell.
