Mairead flew by being able to be out again made her feel relaxed. How she wished she could see her friends again, but that wouldn't hurt her. She looked around the area it seemed not much had changed either.

Aquilo heard the rustle of wings above him. Glancing up, he saw the familiar form of Mairead. He took off to fly beside her. "It's been a while. Nothing has changed, except for maybe I love you more. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Mairead."

Mairead quickly turned around. She lightly smiled. "Really? Well I am extremely sorry to have been away for such a long time. My owner was busy with college stuff." She paused for a sec. "Although I was hoping that you would still be mine when I came back."

Aquilo looked down and hung his head. "Oh...That. I swear there was nothing between us. Miss Soul Muse is not my kind of lady. My owner...I'm sorry. You are the only woman that I could ever see myself with." Aquilo floated down to a lower alttitude, gliding for a little bit.

Mairead looked confused. "Soul Muse? I don't recall ever seeing you with her." She cocked her head to the side. "Um...ok well at least things are still the same. I don't mind that you were with her. If you did end up loving her though I would respect your choice either way." She giggled a bit. "But please don't let that discourage you."

Aquilo flew back up. "I'm glad that you're not upset. Of course I would still be yours...as long as the crazy owners don't sell me...or tie me up...*winks and nuzzles her*

Mairead sort of chuckled at his response. "Well now. Let's just hope then that never happens to you." She then dove down a bit before landing on the ground. She sat down for a sec. "Have you ever had a special place you like to go to?"

Aquilo smiled. "Sort of. The sky is very special to me. It has no limits, so I am free to go wherever I wish. I think a lot when I'm flying. The wind in my face has a way of clearing the clouds from my head." Aquilo hovered about the ground for a few seconds before landing gently and settling in next to Mairead. "Do you have somewhere special?"

Mairead pointed with her hoof up ahead. "Right here." In front of her was a clear crystal spring where butterflies came. "I sometimes find this place very nice when there is no one to talk to. You would think that a pony like me would be sociable and talk to others though." She chuckled at herself. "However, it's sometimes hard to find others to talk to since some can be so cold or mean."

Aquilo smiled and took in the beautiful area. "This is beatiful. I wouldn't be sociable either if I had this to come to..." He looked around, in awe of the clear water and the many different colored butterflies. "This place must be very special to you. Thank you for sharing it with me." He blushed at the thought of seeing her on a more intimate level. Sharing this spring must mean she trusted him a lot.

Mairead smiled a bit before getting up to stretch. "Yeah? Well I guess so." She was a bit curious as to what Aquilo was thinking, but she didn't bother to bring it up. "Didn't you say your mom and dad were thinking about having more kids?"

Aquilo smiled bleakly. "Yes they are seriously thinking about it. I don't see why they need any more. Why can't the four of us be enough?" He walked over to the spring and dipped his hoof in. "I suppose that if they really want more children, I don't have any say. I just don't know how I feel about it right now."

Mairead lightly smiled. "Well I'm sure you'll always remain in their hearts." She lightly nuzzeled him before going to bathe in the spring. "You know the water is awfully clean here so it's alright to drink."

Mairead stopped suddenly a bit shocked. "Huh? Reallly? I guess not. I don't get many compliments, but I guess that's ok. As long as someone is happy with their decisions about me then I guess I am alright." She paused for a moment. "But thank you." She eventually got out. "If you don't mind me asking, how comes we don't see your second sister that much? I mean the red one."
