Do you want your own Sticky?
Do you want to make a FAQ thread for your mental-illness of interest?
Currently, this Guild is PUBLIC. That means that you can make a FAQ thread for a mental-illness here in the Guild, and refer other people to look at it, if you need them to, during a discussion elsewhere on Gaia! They will be able to post replies to threads in this Guild even if they are not members. Reply here if you finish putting together a good FAQ that you want made into a Sticky.
I want this to be a resource centre for those who want to learn more about psychology. At the same time, I want this to be a haven for the mentally-ill, so if any problems crop up from the Guild being public, PM me. I may have to change it to private and let y'all know.
I hope this works out, because it's a good way to advertise the Guild, while educating the public about mental-illnesses and creating a database of knowledge at the same time!

I'm interested in making one for Borderline Personality Disorder. That is what I have, and I know a lot about it, but I wouldn't know how to go about making one of these threads. Any tips?

Should we make the posts in M is for M + M's thread about "Myths and Misunderstandings about Mental Illness" into stickies? That would make them more easily viewable and accessible.

Any tips? Just go ahead and start a new thread with any information that you think would be helpful about Borderline Personality Disorder! Give it a try and ask for suggestions. You can take your time completing your FAQ, and then post again here when you're done with it!

it is a pretty good idea to make it public...mayb in time we should get another guild thing n have it private where we can share things that might be a tad bit more personal???

Sure, if anyone can raise the gold! Also, if other people want the guild to be private as well, I can change the settings. Perhaps it should be put to a vote?
