This is the official Bon Voyage thread, where we talk about what other than the Bon Voyage Expansion! What are your favorite/least favorite elements of Bon Voyage? The vacations, Three Lakes, Twikkii Islands, or even Takemizu Village? Personally, I enjoy the beach front housing options, new decor, and even the vacations rewards that you get if your vacation turns out good smile

When BV was first announced I was actually really looking forward to it but now that I have had it since its release I'm not so much of a fan. I still enjoy it but am disappointed that Sims don't get anything for completing their holiday momentos.
The hotel maids really annoy me too as they seem to do nothing so I'm really pleased that I found a hack to make them more useful.
BTW, you must have found the only EP we didn't have an official thread for.

I only bought it because seasons and pets were both freaking sold out when I went to buy a new EP.
I knew it was going to be a disappointment- I hated the Sims vacation for the first one.
BUT- I'm definitely looking forward to going out and finding Bigfoot. ^_____^

Hm. can elders not find bigfoot? I have the map, but, she can't walk to any lot, and the burrow isn't on the menu when you go to change lodgings...

The burrow doesn't show up as a place to lodge at. It acts as a community lot. The map must be in her inventory and then you can either call a taxi or walk to lot and then the burrow should show up in the menu of destinations with a question mark next to it.
You have to be checked in at a hotel before your Sim is allowed to walk to lots.

I just made her go home, and bought a vacation home xD
I want to see how the kid likes him, so I went and adopted another kid too.
I love when everyone in the family has the want for a Bigfoot hug =) It's adorable.

OHMIGOSH. Bigfoot is so adorable, He plays with the kids and cooks them food and brings things home from work for them *o*

LOL I found bigfoot and took him to my house! You have to dig in the ground until you find a secret map to the location in 3 lakes. Then, you go there, and big foot is usually just fishing or sitting around. Befriend him, and you can ask him to move in smile

If you turn the radio on thats in his hut he will also teach you the slap dance. Thats the only way my Sims have learnt it cos none of the locals ever dance it in my game. Oh wait, they have done once.
