I've been offline since Thursday due to my friend's wedding...finally have down time today to get online, yay!

The whole weekend was a blast. Friday we got pampered with manicures and pedicures and then went to the rehearsal. That night us bridal party ladies stayed in a hotel room together and the bride and I could no sleep- finally we got 3 hours in! sweatdrop Woke up early the next day and got our hair done all pretty. The weather was wicked hot, around 106 degrees. Our double stick tape was not sticking and the humidity was horrendous...but their ceremony was fairly short. At the end of it as they kissed there was a rainbow shining down on them, it was awesome. The reception was a blast- the food was good, the drinks were flowing and everyone had a great time.

This wedding was my 3rd this summer, I still have one more to go in July. That one will be outside, ugh. sweatdrop burning_eyes

Who else is going to/being in/having a wedding this summer?

I was at a wedding a few weeks ago. The ceremony was very small and informal. The groom is hispanic and half of his family could not come. I barely stayed for the reception, but I heard it was fun.

I'm glad you had fun at your reception. ^_^

I love going to weddings, but the last wedding I was at was a little different that I expected. It was the most informal wedding I've ever been to.

Well, I was invited to a friend's wedding this summer, but I couldn't go. It was this past weekend actually. Had I been spending my summer in my college town, I would have gone, but I was over 3 hours away and couldn't afford to go. I've seen some pictures and she looked so beautiful in her wedding dress.

I've been to one wedding this summer, the same one that Biyanka went to. It was a nice wedding, but fairly informal. But half of the grooms family wasn't there since he's from Mexico.

The other wedding I could have gone to but couldn't was my cousin's wedding, but it was three hours away.

The batter smelled wicked amazing and had the consistency of a fluffy, light whipped lemon cheesecake...oh dear. It was hard not to eat it!

They baked lovely and everyone enjoyed them very much. I'll try to post a picture of them once I get the files off my camera.
