This question has been burning in my mind for a long time, and since everyone in this guild is very open that I thought it's about time I asked it... Have you guys liked shoujo-ai so much, that you wished you were female? It feels..........really weird to have a thought like this from time to time.
But, deep down, I don't mind being a male. sweatdrop

Actually yes I have...I've also thought of this question for quite a while, but it's sort of half-half for me. There are many advantages and disadvantages to each side, but then again, I was never one to think of physical changes like most ppl sweatdrop But, yes if given the chance, I would've probably been better off as a girl

When I was younger and more immature, I thought it'd have been awesome if I was born a guy so I could be gay. I read too much yaoi.. But then I learned through the internet how amazing, cleanly, and not painful lesbian sex is in comparison to gay male sex. So... I'm 99% glad I was born a gay woman. The 1% in me is still pissed that males can orgasm much earlier on and easily than women (in which case, I haven't been able to).

You... have no...idea... how much shoujo-ai makes me want to be a girl.
Just to experience the way of life of a girl...sure, I'd have the same interests and stuff, but...just to know what it feels like, the kind of things every day life brings to a girl that guys don't experience. I would really...like to experience that somehow, just once...
On the other hand, I'm glad guys don't have periods. blaugh

No, not really.
I mean, I'm already kinda dumb in real life. If I were a girl, I'd probably be like one of those dumb celebrities that everyone makes fun of. sweatdrop

Reiki_the_Void Holding back my thoughts sort of grew old when i turned 15, so saying all of this just comes natural to me, now sweatdrop That makes a lot of sense, and it's probably a good thing in a lot of ways. Holding things in tends not to help most situations.
Miracle- That's kind of a cute reason, haha. It makes me want to go like "Awww" and pat you. But hey, everyone's a little bit silly--and it's not so bad as long as you aren't completely featherbrained. I mean, I've walked straight into a wall (sad times) and done similarly dumb things, but I'm pretty sure that in general no one thinks I'm a complete idiot.
Korius- I can totally feel where you're coming from. Even though I'm very glad to be female, I can't help thinking that it would be nice to be male too. I mean, guy on guy is pretty hot and I prefer it to het action in general. That, and I seem to meet all the cute gay boys in the world but of course they are all into men. My bisexuality isn't worth as much when the guys I like are always, you know, not oriented in my direction. Imagine being a straight guy who likes kinda butchy girls who always turn out to be lesbian. That's me. It's also why I need to move to Taiwan.

It's more like if I had the same personality if I were female, I'm pretty sure it'd be a lot worse.
If I were a guy... Wait, no I AM a guy. If I were to say something stupid, people would go 'you idiot' and maybe laugh about it. If a girl did it, I'm pretty sure they'd be made fun of and not be very popular.
>_>
Double standards, and all of that.

Girls doing dumb things do tend to be cast and/or stigmatized as scatterbrained and airheaded, but a lot of people write it off as something similar to that ridiculous "dumb blonde" stereotype. A lot of people think it's appealing, cute, or funny for a girl to be really dumb and incompetent, which is why a lot of girls play that up--they think guys like it.

Well, that kinda makes me wonder, now.
Anyway, I like being a guy, anyway. Boy parts are fun, you know? >_>

It would depend really I'd love to see what it was like. For one thing that's probably the only way a man can truly understand any women. If anything I'd like to get a "What if machine" (see Futurama.) and at least see what my life had been like as girl. But at the same time this question, "How many of us guys would want it for anything other then just having a female body."
I think everyone can figure that out but really in that situation. Would we still want our actual minds intact? Also (OniYouji*) you can probably see why I have a few gender change rpies.
(*CZ right?

No, i am proud to be male. I wouldn't want it any other way. I love being a male. I love the girls in my life too much to deny them my maleness ^-^
