Sneaking down the sidewalks, hidden in the shadows of the rows of buildings, Coco was extremely tired from the summer heat. Even if it wasn't as hot as other places- which she guessed it wasn't- she was still hot. Just like chocolate melting, she felt as if she was doing the same. She really hated the summer because she always felt miserable. It was always a relief to see Autumn and then Winter.
Extremely annoyed, Coco ran under a nearby roof shelter, hoping that would help.

Mocha took a deep breath through quivering nostrils, his eyes glancing at the sun repeatedly. It was unbearable. The heat was extrodinary! He took off his chef hat, tossing it around in his hands. It was kind of suprising to see a nearby heila take shelter under DJ's neighbor's roof. He sighed and walked over to it, the sun's heat waves mocking him; 'sweat' excreted from his pores as his feet dragged him over to the female. "Hi. Are you lost? Where's your human? I can't believe you'd live here afterall, seeing as the people are--Err, nevermind." His tail curled around his body.
Aiko poked her head out of an open window and stared at the heila talking to the brown figure. "Mooocccchaaaa! Don't tell me you're flirting with some heila! You playa!" She giggled. She pushed herself out of the house and onto the newly bloomed bush that DJ's mother had planted. She skipped over. "I haven't seen you around here before! D-do you live with one of the neighborhood cildren or something?"
Mocha growled at Aiko. He clenched his fists, muttering, "No, I'm not.You know better."
Aiko grinned. "Whatever. I'm Aiko and thisis obviously Mocha. Umm, would you like to join us in DJ's home?" She pointed out the house, next too where she was standing. "I imagine DJ'd love guests."
Mocha grunted and slouched down, walking towards the door.

Cocoa twitched at the sound of other Helias and almost jumped. She obviously was't hoping for company; Just some shade.
"Umm.. Yes, I live around here..." she said, not sure what to say. "...My name is Cocoa. My human lives just blocks from here, but I don't really go out in the summer..."
Realizing it was getting even hotter outside, Cocoa was relieved to hear Aiko ask if she wanted to come inside; Even though she was feeling really shy at the moment since she'd never met another Heila before. "Umm... sure, if it's not a bother..."

"Nah, it'd never be a bother!" Aiko responded happily, grabbing Cocoa's hand and prodding the other heila forward as she skipped towards the house. She began whistling parts of Pacabel's Canon D Major.
Mocha grinned and opened the door, sliding inside the house. "Yo, DJ, guests!" he shouted, his tail uncurling and flicking itself around.
Krushe rolled her eyes. "Mocha, she's in the garden stupid!"
THe Mocha felt his cheeks go rosey. "Oh I knew that." He grunted and ran to the backyard to search for his owner. He could already imagiine her hair tousled, clothes speckled with dirt, sweat falling down her brow. He grinned and looked at the garden at DJ, exactly how he picture her. "Guest. Another heila. Hurry up and clean yourself up or something! Brush your hair, at least dry yourself with a towel, and put on some new clothes. Anyway, I'll go back to Aiko and the guest and hopefully Krushe."
DJ glanced at him. "Oh really? Is it Iris and R--" She slid some of her bangs back, the sweat like a gel that kept it there in place. "Lemme finish planting this last flower though~"
"No, her name is Cocoa." He grunted.
"Kay! I'll be there in a minute."

Cocoa curiously looked around the house as soon as she got in, but she of course listened to what the other heila's were saying too.
"Not another heila!" Cocoa complained in her mind. "...A-and a human too?! I wasn't even really hoping to see anyone... I just wanted some shade..."
Not knowing what to do, Cocoa just stood by the wall, dumbly.

Krushe was sitting at the table, curled up. She glanced towards the other heila's direction. "...Another heila I see... I hope we won't be adopting you," she mumbled, focusing her green eyes back onto the cook book in front of her. The heila was already tired of the current company she had.. She turned the page and stared at the recipe for cheesecake. "Hi."
Mocha returned ad offered her a chair to sit in. "Uhh, so whose your owner?" he asked curiously, sitting in his own chair.
Aiko watched curiously the three heila around her, her arms hugging her knees close to her body.

"U-umm... Hello..." Cocoa said uncomfortably, giving a bit of a smile and raising her hand up in a semi-wave.
Still not a bit comfortable in the house, Cocoa guessed she had to take the chair. So she bowed a bit in thanks to Mocha and hesitantly took the chair and sat down. "W-well, my owner's Mickayla. We're pretty new here..." she said.

"I see," Mocha said, nodding slightly. He was curious to who this Mickayla was, but he wouldn't ask more and pester her. He knawed on his finger. "So... Umm..." He wanted to straight out say 'do you want to ask anything about us?' without feeling awkward... but he didn't know how. His tail swayed gently.
Aiko giggled at the two awkward heila. She shifted her chair next to Krushe and sat down so she could read the book as well. "Reading a cook book I see... For what?" she asked, grinning.
Krushe glanced at Aiko and muttered under her breath, "None of your buisness."

Cocoa hated awkward silence, but usually couldn't do anything about it because you usually don't have anything to say in that situation. Plus, she was the shy type.
"So, umm..." she began, trying to figure out what to ask. "Uh... Who's your owner?" She finally got out, since it's not really weird to ask the same thing after someone else did... is it? Well, she wouldn't know!

"Dark-Jagan... We call her DJ though," he responded, nodding. He glanced outside. The garden was straight across the screen door that lead to the backyard -and garden.- She wasn't there... So she should be here soon? He closed his eyes. Usually DJ was easy to make converdation with.
And speak of the devil, she was here!
The red head's hair was wet from soaking it in the sink's water and braided and then put up like a bun. She wiped her dirty glasses on her shirt and waved to the four heila. Sitting down, she stared at Cocoa for a moment. "Hi! I'm DJ! What brought you to this silly neighborhood?" she asked, grinning.

...And there goes the human. Now she was with 4 people... 3 heilas and a human. Well, it couldn't be that bad, she guessed.
"Umm... Hi," Cocoa started. "I'm Cocoa. I actually live just blocks away from here..." she said. She wouldn't really consider the neighborhood "silly". Well, with these people and her owner, I guess she could.

DJ grinned. "Oh, I see~ I'm not really up to date with all these things I guess... I remember when I was the only kid in the block! Anyway~ So are you new to this place...? If so, are you enjoying it so far?"
Mocha leaned back in his chair easily. He felt much better. And more relaxed. The same feeling he always had now when DJ came. "No need to be tense," he quickly added in.

Cocoa nodded. "We just moved here a few weeks ago," she said. "We're still settling in... We don't know many people yet." In fact, these were the first heilas and the first human she had really ever met here. You could call her "people shy".

DJ nodded sowly. "I see... Are you plannin on going back to your home now?" she asked curiously. She wasn't sure if the heila was comfortable around their home since she was a complete stranger and seemed... Shy.
