Maybe you should have a team dedicated to making things pretty? Like the front page and certain announcement posts, banners, graphics, those kind of things. Also, perhaps an application thread for those who would like to be crew to help out around the forums, and people to organize the forums and put things in the right place: I also see quite a few duplicate threads made by the same people that shouldn't really be here.
I have tons more ideas, PM me if you'd like to collaborate with me. biggrin
