My Favorite Place?!

too many!
i love being at the book store and hot topic, but i cant say that those are my favorites
i'm in my bedroom way too much even though it is an enjoyable place...
i think that my favorite might be with my Sam and Solar heart

I'm happy in my room, and walking at my grandparent's beach house. But I love the worlds that I write about the most.

Um... the park in town.
Under trees in the middle of fall/spring.
On grass, or on a damp rock with moss in the middle of a trail in a park.

I like being at the beach at night, its quiet from people yet the waves are loud.... ..... ...... people like graveyards because they are close to the people they love, I like the beach because I like looking into nothingness and I like the open space. If spirits were going to anywhere then I think that the beach is a cool place.
I like being in my room on my own, and just inside my head although sometimes I need to escape.

Actually, graveyards tend to scare me.
Maybe it's because I'm so paranoid and I constantly think someone's gonna come up from the ground or out of thin air and jump me.
But, if I wasn't so paranoid, I'd probably enjoy them.

I have a few.
There's this elementary school down the street that closed down a few years ago. I went there for 3rd and 4th grade. There's a red slide at the back of the playground and when I'm upset I go out there and sit on the slide. Staring out at the houses in the distance and the clouds slowly rolling past above is so nice and calming.
But I also love being with my friend Rick. Anywhere, doing anything. But for some reason sitting in his car in my driveway sticks in my mind most. I guess because whenever he drops me off we sit for a few minutes and he gives me a hug and sometimes we goof around with a little cheek kissing game we do. And I feel really loved for a moment because we both complain about having to part. It's nice.
I'm going to have to find new favorite places next month since I'll be leaving all my friends and family and going to college a couple hours away. Eep.

So I found out something the other day.
One of my favorite places no longer exists. That slide that I loved so much is gone. As is all the playground equipment. Everything that was there has been removed and they've left nothing but the big weed-covered square of pebbles they used to stand on.
Seeing that was kind of a blow. My jaw literally dropped when I saw it.

cry Achiba! i had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. Their was a huge oak in our front lawn in which ever since I was 5, im 16 now, I always loved to climb to the very top and look around at all the surrounding houses. However it got cut down because we ahd to replace our well and it was right on top of it. Sad to see it go, memories still remain buried in my head
My favorite place was that oak but is now the pine tree across from it, noone can see me in it because of all the branches but i can see everyone doing their daily thing - mowing the lawn, the little annoying brats fooling around, the old grandma sitting in her rocking chair on the stoop. wink

In the middle of the night I'll read in the bathroom and drink Lipton tea from a 2 liter jug.
Achiba- Ah, that's so sad. A few years ago my elementary school got knocked down.
It's so sad, I loved that school.
The playground's still there, but..
I don't liek walking over the patch of grass where the school used to be.

Hmm, my favorite place to be, is on the road or at somewhere new and interesting. I would say my room but I'm usually so bored in here xD. Hmm I was going to say my roof but I only ever went there to hide and relax from a parent gone mad with power >.>;

The roof.
I love being on my roof.
Because it's so high up and I've got the tops of the trees surrounding me.
And I can see the neighborhood around me.
And it's a wonderful hiding spot.
But I need to have someone up there with me.
Or else I'm scared that I'll somehow slip and fall off.
Or I'll miss the ladder coming down.
