RULES
1) Follow Guild and Gaia TOS
2) No using seals to hurt each other
4) Homework must be in on time or house points will be docked.
5) And if I assign you to do your homework in a rune style, please do so, failure to do so will result in lose of house points.

Home Work
Okay, homework will be posted via pm's to me. And I will post the ones I like the best here. Now, the runes, and seals I'll have you create... You'll have to either do them in ms paint or some image software you have, or else draw them free hand and scan them in. House points will be awarded to those who's homeworks are found of a good enough quality.
Please do not post till after I do on monday. Thanks you.

Professor Thorn was egar to make his first class work well. He checked his notice, he has a group of first years first. Breathing a sigh of relieaf he set about the tast of getting the first day's introductions written on the board. He figured since this was the first year that this course was to be taught, he'd better cover the bases with all his classes today.
The young teacher was standing infront of his chalk board writting away when he heard the door open. He noticed a student coming in. He turned and smiled at the student and then motioned for the student to sit.
"Don't be afriad, I don't bite." He smiled and went back to his work on the chalk board.

As Professor Thorn finished writting his notes on the board he turned and faced the room full of first year students. There were two sky clad slyterin boys who where sitting rather embarassed in the back of the class. Thorn smiled and touched his shoulder.
"Greth." He said and pointed at the two boys. Slytherin robes grew on their bodies and soon covered them fully. "I hate it when the students play tricks on one another." He turned his back on the calss for a momment and took off his jacket. Underneith it he had an musscle shirt. But what drew everyone's attention were the symbols tattooed on his skin.
"My name is Professor Thorn. Please call me Professor or Mr. Thorn. I will be teaching you the art of seals and the languages of runes. Now, you may have noticed the tattoos on my body. Each one is a phrase, spell, or action. I've had them tattooed here so that I don't have to draw them to use them. You see, a spell can be turned into a glyph and used that way."
He looked at the shocked faces of students and smiled.
"Since you're first year students, would you like to see how to say that in these symbols?" Several students nodded their heads. He touched his right hand to the lower part of his left arm and muttered a word they didn't hear. The symbol glowed blue and light jumped off of it and into the air.
They all marvled at the way it shimmered in the air.
"You see this is how you would write your year." He smiled at their faces. "But we'll get into that later. First I'd like to talk to you about how to do that." He turned to a sentence he had wrote on the chalk board. 'Enjoy my class.' The students had taken this as some sort of rule or something. "No, that's not a rule, that's the first glyph I'll explain how to make."
He paused to let that sink in.
"First you create a sentence, Enjoy my class. Next you remove all repeating letters so that all you have left are letters that are in the sentence, but only written once. Such as for this sentence we'd only have, enjoymclas. This is the letters you'll use to create a glyph. Nw how you combind them and how you write them is no big thing. But the you keep going until it looks rather magical." He smiled as a ravenclaw first year was hanging on his every work, trying to capture it all on the partchment she'd brought with her.
"We'll get into the next step later on, in another class period." He saw the disappointment on their faces but smiled. "I will how ever show you how I put them together to make a glyph." He tapped his right bycept and muttered at it. Light from it hit the chalk board and pulled copies of the letters into the letter. The letters rearranged until a glowing green circular glyph in mid air.
"This is how I came up with for this line. Now, our time is almost up for today. I talked to long, and you'll find I do that from time to time. I appologize for that. You have a simple homework for next wendnesday, come up with a there to five word sentence so that we work together to make glyphs for each." He smiled and then added as he thought about it.
"There is also some extra credit. For 50 house points, if you can hazard a guess as to what this glyph means and are CLOSE or even get just most of the letters used in it right at any time in the next few weeks, I'll even give points for that. Now, you have to be either the first or second persons to send me your answers, with the CORRECT answers to get the points. But I'll reward this with house points." He touched the back of his neck and muttered again, this time a red-orange light swrilled around and replaced the green one with a red-orange glyph.
"Like I said, you have a couple weeks to try. Now are their any questions?"

Kingsly sat in the back row styfeling her laughter at her house mates boy were they in for it when the rest of the house found out they were jinxed to nothing but there -cough birthday suit cough-
she sat at her desk her quil floating on her fore finger spining on its tip Kingsly was never one to enjoy classes but there was something diffrent about this one the second the two numbscolls in the back had there clothing on she could tell this was going to be one of her fav. classes.
(fast forward to out of class)
"I belive this class is going to be very interesting if you can comunicate with that laugue could you curse someone with it ? ...*smirk* no , no i don't belive you could..... but then again if you bend the rules just a bit..." she thought aloud as she put her belongings in her bag as the bell touled
Her tabby cat hissed as she left the classroom she turn and glanced as she saw a toad siting in the cornor .
"Poor sap wounder who it was this time?" as she left Kingsly thought long and hard about how she could do her homework... and what she wanted to say.
ooc- I don't know if i'll be able to do that but you know i'll try and see what happens so yea ^_^ 3nodding biggrin

The proffessor repated the lesson for each year only using different symbols for each class. year one  year two  year three  year four  year five  year six  year seven
