--Yay for late Preggy RPs! XD Totally my fault! T^T!--
Last night...had been simply wonderful. Sure the day started out a little scary. With Storm fainting and all. Shiki was tested to his limits. He wasn't always the best Tokoro when it came to staying calm. He was always jumping to conclusions! And they were usually the worse possible out come.
However, the night had ended up wonderful. So much, that when he woke up in the morning, he almost thought the whole pervious day had been a dream! hough, he he spotted the sun, poking though the few gaps in the vines, it all became ver clear. He had really happened! A blush brushed across his face as he rolled over to smile at Storm, the love of his life.

Storm opened her sleepy eyes and looked up at Shiki. "Shiki," she said softly, "I think you are going to be a daddy." She rolled onto her back and put a paw on her tummy, motioning for him to do the same. "It's not much but there is a difference I'm pretty sure." She waited for him to lean down so she could give him a kiss "thank you, for helping me last night. I don't think I could have made it though without you."
Storm looked around and noticed the vines still wrapped tightly around the nest. She held out a hand and moved some of the vines aside to let the sunlight in. "What a beautiful morning."

Shiki's face lit up, his cheek's were so read it looked like he might have been holding his breath. Him, a father? How bizarre, but he had to admit. He really liked the idea of being a Daddy. Plus, the mother was Storm. How thrilling? He loved her with all his heart.
"Did you think I'd just leave you? How could I? And now, we're going to have kids! It couldn't be more amazing!I love you more then anything else!" He bent down and nuzzled her gently and then rubbed her belly. He really could feel the difference and it was amazing. He was a father!

"I hope you never want to leave me. I have never been happier in my entire life."She sat up and put a paw gently on her stomach "We will take good care of you when you are ready to come out." then she looked over at Shiki and smiled.
"I think I'm going to go for a swim to help me wake up, join me if you like." She hadn't waited for a reply she slipped through the hole in the vines she made like it was a door. She was down the tree and skipping in the direction she thought the pond was in....but of course she was heading the wrong way.

Shiki tilted his head lightly and watched her wade her way though the vines. A swim sounded nice, but he figured it might be better to spruce up their new nest, and collect a few fruits and other foods while he was at it.
"I'm going to decorate! See you in a few Storm, love!" He called down to her, with out really paying attention to where she was headed, then he flew off to find a few nifty flowers and fruits.

Shiki is such a sweetheart how did I ever become so lucky. She thought to herself as she wondered away. She had been daydreaming about what her kids would be like when she wondered aimlessly away and came to her senses about a hour later. "Wait. I should have been to the swimming hole already," she looked around and didn't recognize anything. "Where am I? Oh great job Storm." She said to herself sadly, "you meet the man of your dreams, and then you just walk way." she looked behind her...'which way was the nest,' she didn't know this forest very well, "hmm, I guess the best thing to do is try and follow my way back." She turned and hoped she was heading the right way.

Shiki was careful to avoid plants that were poisonous, or caused weird rashes, as he searched around for plants that could help spruce up their home a bit. He didn't stop until his arms were full, and he was back at their nest by the time and hour had passed. He quickly placed the random objects into the nest and vines.
It didn't take him long, he was done in about half an hour. So he jumped out of the tree and headed out to the lake. You can imagine how shocked he was when he didn't see Storm there. Had she gotten lost? Surely not... Or...maybe?
"Storm!" He called, thinking she might be under the water or possibly somewhere close by.

It had been several days. Storms little gray cloud joined her once again as she wondered about the forest, as the rain started she was crying. What would she do. She already missed Shiki like mad, maybe this was a sign. No she would not give up. She walked on.
Only twenty minutes or so later, she felt the labor pains coming on. But then she saw the pond....was it same pond she had gone looking for that fateful day. "Yes! I'm almost home." The pain was really getting to her, but she slowly continued on. Then she spotted the nest. She felt to weak to climb or call out to see if Shiki was near so she used the wind to carry herself up into the nest. Shiki wasn't there....'had he thought she left him on purpose'
She hoped with all her heart that he would return, but right now she must focus on the babies, they were coming now.
