My name is Val, and since 4th grade, I have been a choir girl. I'm a Second Soprano, which means I'm basically above the altos slightly, but if I need to, I can sing the alto parts. I went from 4th grade all the way to my Senior year of high school singing, and was even in the top choir of my high school for 2 years.
Starting in middle school, I took up guitar as a way of expressing myself when I would loose my voice, as would happen every year in October. I took lessons for a good 4 or 5 years then my schedule got so busy that I couldn't make it to my lessons, I still practice at home from time to time.
I just recently started teaching myself piano, and can play most of "My Heart Will Go One" from Titanic.
Thats my musical background, hope you enjoyed!

I'm CarmenWilliousD, and I have a deep apreciation for music, even though I don't really play it a lot. I have been learning how to play guitar for the past few months, and I used to play clarinet and flute (but I don't remember how to play either instrument anymore ^_^;; wink . Most of my singing is confined to the shower, but I don't mind.
At least I can name a band and a song title when a song starts to play on the radio. smile

Name's Rika/Kim, whichever you prefer, and now, I am a part of my high school concert band.
Since third grade, I enjoyed singing and was even part of choir until sixth grade. Sixth grade was when I received the french horn, and I enjoy it so much. I played recorder in fourth and fifth grade (but who didn't?)
Now, my major is still french horn, trumpet my minor, trombone, baritone, flute, percussion, and I play guitar at home.
Music changed my life from the shy little girl to an outspoken person who is actually a part of something. Music's given me purpose and I'll always pursue it.
At the moment, I'm trying to figure out how to put Kingdom Heart's "Simple and Clean" from piano and guitar to a more defined range for french horn.

I'm Meghan/Maiyori, I couldn't care less which one you address me by. I play the violin, sing soprano voice parts, draw anime, and play on a soccer team.
I've been playing violin for almost five years and love every minute of it. My music lets me portray how I'm really feeling and helps take my mind off of life.
I've been in soccer programs since 2nd grade and am hoping to tryout for the freshmen girls soccer team in the spring. I was in chorus, but quit because it was to over-crowded and kinda pointless. I enjoy playing soccer because it has really changed me. I used to be afraid to get rough, but after all these years of soccer playing, I can't wait to show everyone what I'm capable of.
Even though my artwork could use some major improvements, I still love drawing. I still can't design my own characters, but at least I don't trace anything.
Singing is sort of a hobby, but at least I'm good at it. I even tried out for an international choir this year at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
I have attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan for the past two summers (including this one). Both times I majored in violin. I was a fiddling minor last year and a drawing and painting minor this year.

My name's Sarina, or you can call me Rin for short... Lets see, I've always loved to sing, ever since I was little. From Grade 1-8, I've always been in the school choir, a soprano. I can sing in front of a large group of people, I just prefer not to, unless I'm singing with someone else, or a whole group (hence the 8 years of choir.)
When I started high school, I stopped choir, but I didn't stop singing. If you lived with me, you would notice that I sing the most...in front of the computer. Sounds funny right? But that's pretty much where I go to listen to music. The second place, the shower, I even have a water proof radio handy in there haha.
As for instruments, I used to play guitar, I have no idea why I stopped though...I'm hoping to start playing it again some time soon, when I'm not busy with school. There's also the piano, although I just taught my self how to only play nursery rhymes and Christmas carols, hey at least my baby brother and little cousins like them (: The only song that I know that isn't a nursery rhyme or a Christmas carol is probably, The Rugrats theme song haha. OH and chopsticks!
Ok back to singing...I have my friends around for that, they're the people I sing with the most. With them, I'm pretty much the alto of the group (notice the big change from soprano to alto) since I can't sing as high as some of them. But I don't mind, although I sometimes find being the alto is a little hard, since I don't have the deepest voice around, but I hold up pretty good 4laugh

My name is Jade, but just call me Jay! I'm currently in the school orchestra playing the viola! I've quite choir and chamber choir recently because chamber orchestra time crashes! So... I'm joining chamber orchestra soon I guess.
I also play the piano and violin! I've been learning these 2 instruments for the longest (piano for around 9 years and violin 7 years?). I learn singing at school as well, I'm not sure whether I'm an alto or a soprano, my singing teacher claims that I'm an alto but my piano teacher says I'm a soprano. It's quite confusing. Let's say I'm both! LOL I was a soprano 1 when I was in the senior chamber choir though... hmm...
I've performed in a piano contest before... that was a very long time ago though. My recent performances would've been singing and orchestra performances.
In short: Instruments played: Violin, viola, piano, vocal (singing: both alto & soprano)

Ok.. since we have some people... and Miss Kibby says posting is necessary... anyone have any music related news?
My ex boyfriend is planning on using some of my random lines in a song, if he can figure a way to use them. And if he gets rich off a song with my words in it, he will be paying me for the rights to use them heart

I'm Alfredo, my friends call me Freddy, I'm currently in my school's choir. This is my second year sense the elementary and the middle I attended didn't offer choir. I can sing both tenor and bass, although I prefer tenor, and I haven't fully developed my falsetto. I played the alto and tenor saxophone in middle school and I still do as a hobby. When I was younger I used to be able to play the piano very well, but I haven't practiced in years and sadly I forgot how to play with my left hand. I also sing constantly, wherever whenever, especially if there's music playing because I can't pay attention to the song if I'm not at least humming it. The sad part is that I can only properly sing what I'm taught in choir rolleyes

Heyyyyllooo!!! (no, not the awesome action-packed game, Halo...)
Name's brokenbarrier (you don't need to know my human name...)
i'm in band playing some brass all around; learning to play oboe and violin at the moment!
This is a really depressing set of news, but...
Apparently the awesome, alternative/punk band, Blink 182 had gotten back together this year, just to perish in a plane crash!!!! The drummer survived, but the other members are dead.... My friends and I sang some of their greatest hits in memory of them... cry

Allo Loves! Name's *points to siggy* buut call me Kitsune or Kite please!
I've had a big love for instruments ever since I was little. Mom and dad even caught me trying to play my dad's guitar a few times! I started to play the piano when I saw 7. And continue to play now! I also have a little bit of a singing voice, being in a few concerts for school.
When I tried out for Jazz Ensemble this year I didn't quite make it, but maybe next year I'll get it! 4laugh
