Appearance: His wild red hair is his most apparent trait. What little attention he gives to it causes it to sometimes cover his entire face if he allows it. His hair is matched by his burning red eyes, making him look far more dangerous than he actually is. He understandably ages slowly, still looking like a child complete with round cheeks and dimples. Despite this, he still has the physique of a person his age. His fair skin is milky white but not pale, although there is some light trace of freckles beginning to appear.
The clothing he chooses is usually whatever is the most comfortable for the season. His shirts and pants are typically loose-fitting and made of natual materials. On each arm are four solid gold bands nearly covering his entire forearm. Although they appear to be heavy, he moves his arms without any resistance.
Nature: Ry keeps a note of nearly everything he sees, usually carrying around a journal and a pen made to look like a quill. He has a comment for everything and always speaks his mind, but usually keeps to himself. He tends to go out of his way to help people, but he is more the type to set things in motion and watch how they unfold. He is usually calm and collected, but has a wild side that springs out without warning. Despite his ability to stay deep in focus when he's writing, his attention span is actually quite short, demonstrated by the constant movement of his eyes.
Birthright(s): Golden armbands from Draupnir. A symbol of great wealth, most people who observe these items believe Ry to be incredibly rich, and allow him certain privilages in the hopes of somehow being rewarded.
Weapons/Armor: Armbands, usually worn at all times, are invulnerable to most normal attacks. The effects of forces such as magics has yet to be witnessed.
Abilities: Shamanism, although not fully developed, Ry has gained the ability to see the spirits of the dead. He can only see those who have recently died, as their essence is easier for him to detect.
Biography: Ry has been told from his earliest memories that he was a genius. His intelligence and ability to learn as well as adapt has always surprised those around him. His mental growth has always seemed to be in opposition to his physical growth, his body having always aged slower than others his age. This has caused him to be constantly ridiculed and looked down upon by his peers, while adults see him less as a person and more as a test subject in a lab. He was offered the chance to graduate early, and took it with great haste, beginning college when he was just 16. Not wanting to been draw back into his old life, he cut ties with home and begin his new life.
It was at this point, a moment when he thought his path had been layed in front of him, that a stranger intervened. The man offered a wager; should the boy prove his wisdom, the man would bestow him with a gift. The boy examined the man for only a few seconds, then confidently declared that the man must be his biological father. With a weak smile, the man held out his hand. A single large gold ring glistened in his palm, and from it was immediately born eight identical rings.
"Obtain a knowledge equal to mine, and we may meet again." Those were the man's last words, leaving the golden armbands in front of Ry. His attention on the strange occurance, the thought to follow the man came slightly late, as he vanished the moment Ry glanced in the direction the man had come from.
