OK does anyone even post here anymore?

I'm gonna get the ball rolling. Quite a few interesting developments of late in the computer world. AOL and MSN may be merging into one company, Opera has given up its subscrip policy and Google Print may never get off the ground because of greedy book publishers.

Discuss! Talk! Please, breathe life into this guild once again!!!

Most activity we ever got since the big death was the big list of regs, but MP ditched that. He only got it half done!

I hope they don't change AOL too much... I'd hate to have to mess with Internet settings again... gonk Still, at least there might be less of a chance that they'll be using fancy clients and stuff. Maybe.

Eh? I got a free code from Opera when they had their anniversary party and haven't used another browser since, but AFAIK they still charge for codes after that. Don't they?

Aw, sorry Manhatten. School's more important of course. Are you going for A+ certification or something like that? I'd love to get that someday and get a job fixing computers. I could get one now likely, but those always require human interaction sweatdrop . I don't like interacting with people. Just gimme a computer, the tools and leave me the hell alone.

Going for the CCNA. Though, the odds of me completing the other 3.5 semesters of the curriculum by June is highly unlikely to happen.

Though, my networking class feels more like work. I don't do any of my own work. I end up fixing everyone else's computers that they bring in. And 80 minutes is impossible to get computers reinstalled with XP+SP2, and still have time to do my own work.
