Today I was thrift store shopping and while looking at the books I saw a copy of Anne of Green Gables. I picked it up (I don't know why) and was shocked that the picture on the cover depicted Anne with a nutty blond head of hair.
question gonk
I'm amazed that the publishers would even place that picture on there...because Anne's red hair is such a big part of who she is. I was really baffled on why the artist/publisher/whoever made her have chestnut curls in the photo.
Anyway, that's all.
Anyone else see pictures about the book series that didn't match the story?

Hmm, I've not seen that before. Almost every cover of an Anne story, I've seen a redhead on there. 0_o

Cover art is often out of control, which really sucks. I've realized this as I've gone on to get some of my novels published. It really sucks that it happened to Anne though, especially since her red hair is such a big deal, like already said.

I wished I bought the book so I could take a picture of it and post it on here, maybe compare it side-by-side with my other Anne books. You guys would spaz. It was really odd!
