zOMG would not have classes to choose from like many other mmo, but will allow for you to customize your playing style by using a ring system.
Category Listing and types of fighters:
Close Range Combat:
Fighters who bring the fight to the enemy, they set themself up close and personal with the enemy. Also would includes short range magic fighters and thieves.
Range Fighting:
These nail the enemy from yards away or barrage the enemy with fireballs as they run at them, open to wizards and marks mens alike.
Healing:
They are not just responsible for their lives but sometimes for the lives of their comrades prepared to help them when the going gets tough.
Tanks:
Well armoured and able to take a few hits, they are up front and hold the enemies attention long enough for other party members to heal or shoot down the enemy. They may also have a little of some other aspects such as magic, healing or such to help them in tanking...
Supporters:
May not be suited for hot and heavy combat, or distracting the enemy, and may not want be responsibile for keeping everyone healed. They may be a "jack-of-many-trades" type and like having some healing rings, several buffs, and maybe a few offensive spells. These people may just be anyone who prefers to do many things without being restricted to a single role. This group fills in the gaps.

When the game first comes out there will be many gaian setting up groups in order to do different things in the game. Some of the type of groups you might see are:
1st Special Task Force: A high level task-force devoted to group based battling encouters. When battle system comes out these guys may go on boss kills or farming information about the game. They might also be the first invited or inviting others on line to form parties.
2nd Scouting and Intelligence: To compile information on all aspects of battle they might be responsibile for going through the information posted in the different databases and checking for facts. They may also act as a balanced scout unit durning raids, training and other events.
3rd Explorers: Explore and document the world of Gaia Battle with the priority of reaching new and undiscovered areas. They might document information pretaining to the world and quests, plus report back for item drops from monsters and bosses. They might even compile maps, and quest logs.
4th Assault Sqaud: The on-call support unit devoted to being apart of parties and or groups and giving all they can to help their fellow partty y may members when needed.
5th Farmers: They may be there to help their own and other groups become as strong. They might make reports on drops and monster information given others a chance to get needed or wanted items.
