ss2hulk's Strategy 1.0
Ok this a basic strategy guide for how to go about Comic-Con. I'll be adding other components later. Components would be: transportation, housing, saving money, what are essential for such an event, and many other things!
Things to check back for!
-Train/Coaster Schedule
-Preregistration opens
-Other things!
Step 1: Preregistration
-Buy your four day pass A-SAP, As Soon As Possible. The forms, after completely filling them, will cost you $35, correct me if that price is wrong. This a great deal compared to Anime Expo, $65 a day!
-Fill in your forms, of course. They will be sent to your e-mail, if not save the forms to your e-mail account. Most accounts come with 2.0 GB of space, so you'll be ok.
-Print and save your forms. Put them in a safe place and protect them in a place case.
Step 2: Preparation
-Plan how you can get there. Be sure to have a responsible, or take the train. You could even rent a hotel or motel, a bit pricey though.
-Also know where you are going to stay for the night. How are you getting home?
-The money, have plenty of it. You'll need it for stuff you wanna be, transportation, food, drinks, and general emergencies. Have at least $100. I'm shooting for $500-$1000.
-Pack water! You will need it! And sun block!
Step 3: The Schedule, July 23-27
Wednesday, July 23
The doors open at 6:00PM and close at 9:00PM.
-Try to be there an hour to two hours early. The lines will be gigantic!
-The reason for getting in line is to pick-up your badge. The badge will allow access in and out of the con doors. Very helpful for the next four days to come!
-Buy everything you fear will be sold out! Even if it cost lots of money, buy it. If you know the item you want is going to sell quick, get it ASAP!!!
Such items may included: doujinshi, manga, collectible figures, hats, and etc!
Thursday and Friday, July 24-25
-9:30AM to 7:00PM the Exhibit Hall, dealer's room closes.
-Relax, buy stuff, and enjoy the programs!
-Try to finish buying everything you want on Friday.
Saturday, July 26
-9:30AM to 7:00PM the Exhibit Hall, dealer's room closes.
-This is the biggest day. Try to finish up buying the things you want if you haven't already.
-Saturday has the biggest panels, so those you should really check out!
Those panels will be post on the guild!
Sunday, July ******** Sunday honestly!!! It is kids day. The panels suck! And everything good is sold out! But if you want to go. Just go because the dealers room gets cheaper. The dealers get cheaper because they wanna sell and get rid of all the merchandise.
Things to look forward to in the guild:
-Updated preregistration
-Updated dealer's room
-Updated panels
-Updated transportation
