They are still doing the exhibition applications, so we won't know for a while. I'll or we'll keep everyone posted.

Would the first time they release that information in that announcement magazine? I know they sent one last year a couple months before the con.

Good question and to be honest...I don't know the answer to that, but the first news letter didn't arrive until second semester last year. So, maybe will know by then. I'm sure we can expect the Gaia panel, and a panel from the whatever anime movie does the best: DBZ or Evangelion. My money is on Evangelion, but you never know.

Does anyone here know about the rules and regulations as to what you are allowed to carry as a "weapon" (obviously while cosplaying)?

Citlayi Does anyone here know about the rules and regulations as to what you are allowed to carry as a "weapon" (obviously while cosplaying)? You must be 18 years of age to purchase a sword. You may bring a real katana, but no real guns.

It should be fine. Wooden weapons aren't too dangerous, they could just hurt like a b***h, but rarely fatal.

And if you do bring a real weapon, I believe they have somebody at the door who will direct you to a place to get it safety bonded for free. I don't really know what it is, but I think they just tape the sheath to the sword so you can't pull it out.
And if it's not bonded, like if you didn't go when you came in, or bought the weapon inside, somebody will tell you to get it bonded, as well.
