Buy one now.
Go Right now to Comic Con and try buy one before it is sold out. They do go fast and every year they go faster.
Simple thing to buy it too. Just fill in the forms and pay them with credit cards or something. This shouldn't be too hard to do.
Make sure you are getting the 4 Day Pass and not single day passes.

Days of the Comic Con
-Wednesday First Day of the Con, AKA Preview Night
Open at 3:00pm to pickup tickets only. Doors to the main place open at 6:00pm and close at 9:00pm
Good idea to go and pick it up today. After getting it go buy things if you think something may be sold out quickly or just want to get as fast as you can.
If you did order a 4 day pass, just go and get it so no waiting on the days where anyone can pick one up.
-Thursday The Other First Day of Comic Con
Opens at 10:00am and closes at 9:00pm. Doors to the Main floor with booths and stuff close at 7:00pm
A good day to go since it is basically the real first day. Its a good time to get free stuff and is one of the days there is a lot of stuff and not as many people. Most people should be at work on Thursday or may have summer school.
I would personally say you should go today.
-FridayThe Second day of Comic Con
Opens at 10:00am and closes at 9:00pm. Doors to the Main floor with booths and stuff close at 7:00pm
Just like Thursday, so do the same as Thursday.
Also if your at summer school it is fun to end class and head out to the Con. If not you can always meet up with friends who are in class at noon to go. That way you can sleep in a bit.
-SaturdayThe third but best day to go. GO
Opens at 10:00am and closes at 9:00pm. Doors to the Main floor with booths and stuff close at 7:00pm
It is always a must. Never miss Saturday, usually the best day there. This is when you have good chances of meeting people dressed up a lot since people are usually free today. And they hold lots of good things that day. Like the Masquerade.
So just go.
-Sunday The Fourth and lamest day of Comic Con
Opens at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm. Doors to the Main floor with booths and stuff close at 5:00pm
Skip it like a bad habit(or a good one), since it is Kid day unless you want to buy something. You can usually get things a bit cheaper. But chances are the prices still suck, nothing left that's good to buy, or... something worse?
Don't really bother unless you don't want to stay home or be forced to visit cousins. Basically Sunday is a day to let you avoid people.
