Here's another poem of mine. It's not off the top of my head but still something to look over
Life lays wondering what we will make of it,
For good or evil, fun or fake, truth or lies,
It never knows what will be demanded of it,
But it gladly gives it to all
What is asked is given in due return of equal expression
No matter the size of request, you will get it in a way
What way is always unexpected but surly you should know what you wanted
This is why life loves to play,
It knows the truth of how to use it and knows most others don't
It laughs at the pain we blindly called for it to give,
It smiles in jpy we feel from a newborn child so long awaited,
It feels or sorrow but knows the lesson it has to give
Ask and you shall receive,
No truer statement can be told to those of us asking to change our life
We have the power of choice to ask life what we want
Yet we blindly blame material things or others for what goes wrong
Or atribute to luck the success of others
When we only have ourselves to look on for the problems we sorely have laid in our hands
And the success that we have gotten is by our wit and persistance, a luck made of our own endurance.
This I say hoping to give new meaning to those who feel that all is but for naught, Or that all is lost and hopeless at that
That nothing will ever change
To that I say nothing ever will unless you say for it to, today.
