Yes!....so. This year we are going to NESBA (the biggest most important competition in our area. you actually get judged and compete against each other instead of just going for the constructive criticism.) anyway. we told the principle we were competing this year and he automatically switched marching band into the sports catigory. yeah it kinda stinks that we have to pay for sign up now and we can't fail any classes but it's worth it. Now we can rub it in all thier faces. Marching Band IS a sport! biggrin

Wow! If I read correctly, it sounded like you don't go to competitions to compete, just for constructive critizism. Is that true? Cause my band has never done that. We always go to compete.
