Ivan opened thedoor to the dorm and entered placing his one duffel bag, amp, mini amp, a box containing his pedals, tuner, and music, and his Les Paul on the ground by the door. He crossed over the room and started to right on the paper a description of the common room and his bed room, he would let his other room mates create their own room.
Purple walls with black carpet were the first thing to change. Next a black sofa and two large chairs with foot rest around a large T.V. with a surround sound system that doubled as a stereo with a ten disc changer.Next black curtains dropped over the windows in both the common and Van's room. In Van's room a bed appeared with a black comforter and dark purple sheets. A guitar rack came out of the wall in the shape of black hands that would grip the neck of the instrument. Here and there posters of bands such as Kittie, Die Mannequin, Metallica, along with images of Jimmy hendrix and Page, SRV, Slash, Clapton, Steve Vai, and of course a poster for Gibson appeared on the walls. A desk came up with a black computer and yet another stereo on the wall above it. Van smiled and started to move things into there place in his part of the room.

Once Van had finished moving his things to where he wanted them to go. He placed his guitar on his back and left the room. He wanted to see if the library had any books on magic that he hadn't yet read. He had developed a taste for the books over the years and it would make sense that the books would be interesting there.

Van bursted into the room shutting the door behind him. He made it to his section of the room and threw his guitar on the bed before he collapsed against the wall. A few tears fell along his cheeks but he wiped them away. He didn't know if he was angry more or sad but this hadn't been what he had intended when he had goe to the library. Finally he stood up and kicked on his real amp and ran a cable to the les paul on his bed. He started to play out his anger. The sound was heavy and fast. Towards the middle he threw in a distortion and wah pedal. They only gave his feet something else to do. He was pissed and his music showed it in the raunchy sound and angry riffs he played.

Thankfully Ciara had guessed correctly as to where the boy had scurried off to after she had lost sight of him. She knew he probably wished to be alone at that time and there was no place better than his dorm for such a thing. She had to at least talk to the boy, and the calling stone was a good excuse wasn't it? Sighing in attempt to release some of the tension building up within her, the blonde reached up for the door and knocked twice upon it as loudly as she could in attempt to counter the loud music.
What am I supposed to say...? The girl thought to herself not knowing what to do once the boy opened the door. She had no game plan, at that moment things were spontaneous.

Van stopped playing for an instant slightly out of breath at the sound of a couple of knocks at the door. Did he really want to answer it? Did he really want to deal with people at that moment? No but he might make things worse if he didn't. He threw the guitar onto the bed and listened to the buzz of the amp as he moved to the door. He opened it to see the new Ciara standing outside his door. He thought for a second about slamming the door and walking back to his guitar but he was sure that she was still stubborn enough to stay outside till he came out. "What?" He was angry now and it was apparent in his tone.

"Well, I can see you're glad to see, love." Ciara said sarcastically, attempting to say her words with complete bitterness, but finding such a feat hard for her to accomplish. Regardless of what the boy thought she couldn't help but feel something for it, she just couldn't show it, which was unfortunate for the two of them.
"Now you don't have to go getting all snappy." She then began, moving her posture so that she was resting one hand on her hip and the other in front of Van's face. The necklace dangled from her fingertips, waving back in forth in front of him. "Just wanted to return this."

It was as if she was waving his failure in his face when Van saw that necklace. He reached out to grab the necklace, "Is that all?" He wanted this to be over. It was becoming more and more apparent that the only thing that would never hurt him or leave him was his music and at that instant all he wanted to do was to get back to the guitar on his bed. He didn't want to be around her right now. Van still cared for her but he wouldn't let that get to him. This wasn't the same girl he had met back at Koi not the same girl that he had fallen in love with. He had to believe that she wasn't, how else could he let go?

"No." Ciara said simply in reply. For a few moments after she was lost for words, unsure of why she had just said what she had said. The boy obviously had no desire to talk to her, his words and tone of voice proved that saddening fact. Yet she couldn't help but wish to stay with Van. It was Van. Of course she wanted to be with him, she had never really stopped wanting to. It just never had been a possibility.
Her blue eyes averted away from the boy for a moment, her expression allowing a bit of vulnerability to shine through for a moment. "Why.." Ciara paused, sighing a bit in order to regain her composure. An icy gaze then looked back towards the boy. "Why didn't you come for me?"
Simple question, one that she had been asking herself for quite some time.

Van was a bit surprised by the question. He should have known that they never would have told her, "The b***h gave me three days to get to that place with two of her people and I brought along a friend that I thought would be able to protect me at least for the trip. Something went wrong because we didn't make it in the time frame and I was automatically alone at the school. I had no idea how to get there. I did as much research as I could find but everywhere I looked nothing had the answers I sought. I was transferred not to much longer." Manipulation was always a strong weapon and Ciara wouldn't know anything that they didn't tell her so it made sense that she didn't know.

Nodding as the boy spoke, Ciara allowed her eyes to drift away from the boy, her expression clearly showing she was in deep thought. She believed the boy of course, but that only made things worse. He had tried to come. She had been told otherwise. Her entire reason for joining had just been proved to be a joke, but it was too late, there was no turning back.
"So you didn't try hard enough..." She said softly, her blue eyes still looking away from the boy.

That was the last thing Van needed to hear a scowl came across his face, "Listen babe, I can't convince you of anything. You're just gonna believe that nothing I did was good enough and that everything they did only made you better, so unless you perhaps have something else today that isn't defaming I have a guitar that is dying fr me to get back to her." He stayed and stared at her waiting to see if she had anything else to say. He was trying to give her a chance, something inside of him just wouldn't let him let go yet.

"You know what's funny." Ciara began, a smile seemingly to appear on her lips that had been previously been wearing a fixed frown. "They knew you were here and yet they still had me come." She laughed a bit, shaking her head at such a thought. It had initially occurred to her upon first seeing the boy. Why the Alliance had done such a thing she at first didn't quite understand, but at that moment it was all too clear. "It's a ******** up test, you know?"
"I can't choose them, and I can't choose you."

Van could see the humor in the situation but he saw something else in it, "Well judging from what you have told me, the choice has been made for you wether I like it or not." She was one of them now and he had to learn to live with that. She would probably never care for him the same way now and why should she. They were her family now. The only reason he had ever had for hating them was for taking her away an now they chose to dangle her in a new form. Was it a test for her or a reminder for him?

The boy's comment concerning what she had said was returned with a look that portrayed her disagreement with said statement. Rolling her blue eyes, a sigh escaped the girl's glossed lips. Her head shook back and forth, allowing her blonde curls to sway back and forth with her movement. "No." She then said to the boy, fixing her gaze upon him once more. Her answer was simple, yet true.
Sure, she was one of them, but she still could make decisions. Various Alliance members were in relationships weren't they? Not that they were committed relationships, but that wasn't the point she was trying to convince herself of. At the moment she just had to reassure herself that there was a possibility she could find a happy medium. She did still care for Van, but strangely she didn't despise the life she now lived.
