Saphiro
Loli
PostPosted: Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:27 pm

Saphiro, registering for their dorm, entered the blank room. To the right of him, lied a key and a piece of paper. Knowing what to do, he took his room key with his name on it and placed it in his pocket. From his bag he took a pencil and started writing down the room description down.

The paper read:
Large room, Victorian setting. Three beds, dark oak. Ravens perch. Dim lighting. Bookshelves, dark oak. Fireplace, brick. Victorian rugs, indigo. Portrait compartments for storage. Closets, three, wide. Wall color, black. Recliner, velvet, one. Couches, red velvet, two. Mini fridge, hidden. Portraits, ravens...

Saphiro continued to list items of modern, and Victorian era, the more he wrote the more the paper stopped being lists, and started being detailed descriptions. The room would be like a trip to the past, a dreary Victorian era room with modern attachments, like lamps, television, and a mini fridge of course... Though to not disturb the atmosphere, these modern things would be hidden in the walls. These places would only be noticeable to the residents of the room. All in all, the setting was comfortable, though with the constant ability to be dreary with the curtains down.
It would be as a replica of a Mr. Poe's room.
Still, there were desks for work, and extra chairs to be pulled out of secret storage places and a place to relax by the fireplace.
Most of all, it was a haven of darkness, and at top of the door, would be a place for a certain raven to rest.

Saphiro put the last sentence on the paper, and watched as the magic began....

"Impressive..." Rapheal stated as he entered the room. "I have to say, Saph... I compliment your tastes... I almost thought you were gonna turn this place into an igloo..."
The usual emotionless silence cam from Raph's partner Saphiro, in response Rapheal smirked and nodded.
"I suppose so, Saph... either way, I like it... I really do..."
Rapheal made his way to a window, of which he cracked open for a moment. Gathering energy in his hand, Rapheal released a sort of black bubble, that floated into the air. Moments later, the bubble popped, sending a beacon through the air.
There was a loud caw, followed by the sound of wings.
through the window, came a Raven larger than most ravens would ever be. This dark feathered omen flew in and perched on Rapheal's hand, fluffing up it's feathers before examining the room with it's beady black eyes.
"Welcome home, Honcho..." The Raven cawed in response, spotting the raven's perch above the door and flying to it. There, the raven had a "Birds eye view" of the room.
"Nice addition, Saph." The sentient complimented, spotting a velvety couch and resting his body on it in a very lax position.
" Oh yeah... that's the stuff..." He said as he looked up at the cieling.
Meanwhile, his silent partner took a seat upon the recliner, pulling a book from the seat. For now, the two would relax...

The soothing silence that lingered in the cozy room was soon to be interrupted by Loli. Being quiet was far from the girl's job description. It was her natural duty to be loud and obnoxious. Child-like was what most claimed her to be, but she cared not. In her eyes everyone should wish to be like a child. Children are innocent, pure, and fun. Fun being the most important to her of course. All the girl wished to do was have fun. Of course, it was rather obvious she wasn't a child. One look at her and one could easily tell she had... matured. With her curvy lips and bust line there wasn't a single childish thing about her, that was until she opened her mouth of course, which was opened the moment she strolled into the dorm.

"Hello, roomies~" The green haired girl said with a smile plastered onto her glossed lips. Though a frown became fixed onto her face as she witnessed the scene in the room. The two of her roommates seemed rather boring; just sitting there with some dark bird. Not only that but the room didn't make up for the silence either. With it's dark atmosphere she was practically back at home at the Alliance. That just wouldn't do. She would have to make sure to lighten up the area later. Dark places were something she had become quite tired of, considering she was amongst everyday of her life.

Frowning, the girl placed her hands on her hips, scolding those in the room. "Well, aren't you a depressing bunch." The girl said to the two, any anger in her voice hard to distinguish.

[aw boo. I would do more but I have to go.]

Rapheal opened one eye as what appeared to be their roommate burst in through the door, he bubbly persona conflicting with the peacefulness of the room. At first, Rapheal just looked from Loli, to Saphiro, and back to Loli as Saph did the same. A calm frown soon came over his lips as he examined the girl. "Look Saph, it's the happiness parade..." He said at the girls retort, looking to Saphiro as the emotionless boy tried to hold back a smirk. "Well, I'm sorry miss whomeveryouare, but we all can't have smiles on our faces every minute of ever day..." Rapheal said in a joking manner as he lay his head back down on the couch. Honcho let out a caw, seemingly greeting the new arrival.
"Make yourself at home, roomie." he retorted once more, his deep purple eye interested in the new arrival.

"Happiness parade?' The girl questioned the two quizzically, acting unaware of the boy's sarcasm. Not that she didn't know how to spot sarcasm. No, after living with so many Alliance members she knew all sorts of sarcasm; she simply chose not to acknowledge it. In her opinion sarcasm was pointless. Why didn't people just say what was on their minds. "Sounds like fun."

With a smile once again become plastered onto her face, the short female strolled further into the room. "My name's Loli, silly. And I think everyone should have a smile on their face. The world would be a better place if they did." She said to the boy as she plopped onto the couch next to him, her eyes fixed onto the raven in the room as she was intrigued. Though it only took her a couple moments to look back towards Rapheal in order to reply to his last comment.

"I will thank you."

Rapheal simply 'humphed' at her comments. Who was this person? Was she for real? "A bubbly one, aren't we?" Rapheal said softly. Still, one eye closed and one purple eye focused on the strange girl who plopped down next to him. Rapheal had minds to say on the 'better place' comment, but let it pass with annoyance. If he and Saph were gonna live with this person for a while, they might as well not start off too bad... not that they were starting off grand now. "By the looks of you..." Rapheal started, still looking down Loli, a bemused feeling upon his face. "...you aren't gonna like the room, are you? Well, try not to change much... I don't want to find anything too foofy as a surprise in here... Unicorns stick out like mud on a red carpet." Rapheal was holding back much of his natural mean, while Saphiro was too busy silently reading his book.

The smile on the girl's cherubic face only brightened as the boy commented on how bubbly she was. Such words were a compliment in her opinion, which was good considering people pointed out she was those things quite often. Every moment the girl could be seen doing some sort of outlandish action. At the current moment, however, Loli wasn't doing anything extreme. Surprisingly silent, the girl dangled over feet over the side of the couch, happy to find that at her height she was still able to reach the floor. Usually her short figure engendered her to have to have her small feet dangle above the ground. Easily amused, the girl began to bounce a bit on the couch, finding the comfy couch to be quite a grand trampoline. Her body moved little, but one sitting upon the couch with her would be able to feel the annoying movement of the furniture below them. "I like this couch." The green haired girl said happily, continuing her movement.

It took awhile for her to become bored and unamused, but once she did she found it the perfect time to respond to the boys latter comment. "I don't like Unicorns." She pointed out to him matter of factly. "I like lollipops." Shifting uncomfortably, the girl pulled her legs up and brought them under her so that she was sitting in Indian style, her long skirt covering most of her folded legs. "The rooms not that bad." Her words showing her still obvious dissatisfaction. "Don't worry I won't change too much." That was a lie; not that her roommates would know.

"So, what's your name Mr. Boring?"

"Lollipops... right." why wasn't he surprised... the annoyed boy in black closed both eyes and rested his head as the couch moved under him. Saphiro, though seemingly busy with his book, was silently snickering at his partners discomfort and the energy of Loli.
"Why don't I believe you..." Rapheal said in response to her not changing the room. " ...the names Rapheal. Call me Nox. The frosty man beside us is Saphiro, he doesn't talk..." A caw and the flapping of wing burst the sound above them as the raven eyed the two. "...and of course, the raven's name is Honcho."
Rapheal's gaze returned to Loli, of which the strange purple eye watched the energetic girl once again.
"Quite the crew, aren't we?" He said with a small smirk. Getting up from the couch, he walked over to his bed, where his pack and suitcase were left untouched. With a strange hesitation he popped open the clasps, opening the creaky black holder. His hand slowly shifted the contents inside until his gloved hand stroked the cover of an old, black book. Silver words in an unknown language adorned the old black cover, and it's spine was bent slightly. Retrieving the book, Rapheal made his way to the couch opposite of Loli, setting the book down on his lap.

It rest there for a moment, Rapheal calmly watching the girl for a while. Something about the book and this boy went together like Satan and Lilith...
This would be fun, maybe only for Rapheal.
"You wanna see something cool?"
He said, a sinister look upon his face as his eyes gazed upon Loli.

Hmph. The depressing boy was proving to be well... depressing, and Loli disliked it. People such as him were the ones she had been surrounded by for far too long. Stupid dark people and their dismal attitudes. Ah well, at least he wasn't treating her like the people at the Alliance. Then again, they didn't treat her that badly, but that was only because they were afraid of what she would do. No one liked their powers getting stolen from them, and Rapheal was probably no different. Of course, she would wait for the proper time to disable his powers; she only did such a thing when necessary. Besides, the boy wasn't proving to be of any harm of her. A bit dismal maybe, but he hadn't been mean.

"Rapheal. Hmm you're going to need a nickname." The girl said with a smile, as an amused perplexed look became fixed onto her features. "He doesn't talk? Why doesn't he talk? I would hate not talking. Talking is really a lot of fun. Did he lose his voice? Like laryngitis? I don't like laryngitis; it makes me sound like a dying animal." The girl rambled onto for what seemed like forever, her words coming to a halt as her couch buddy stood up and retreated into his room. He came back only moments later settling back down besides the girl, a book in his hand. Being her natural curious self, Loli moved closer to the boy, her eyes peering at the book her held.

"Yea." The girl said simply, her eyes still fixed onto the book.

Saphiro rolled his eyes at Loli. The silent and the never-stopping, he knew immediately they would simply get along. The boy only kept reading his book as Rapheal pulled out his own familiar tome. Saphiro hadn't a clue what Rapheal was up to, but since Loli stopped talking, he liked it.

Rapheal smirked as Loli was still, gazing at the book intently. Raph took the book in his hands, it flat on both his palms. Raph closed his eyes, the room silent again since Loli had first came in.
From the ravens nest, Honcho flapped is wings, flying down onto the books surface, his beady eyes facing Loli.
Suddenly, Rapheal's body collapsed onto the couch, but the book stood levitating with Honcho staring at Loli. The rooms light dimmed eerily as the book just floated there, Rapheal unconscious, and the Raven staring at the girl.

This stood fro several moments, before the bird opened his beak and said,
"Hi, my name is Honcho."

Saphiro stared at the bird, a shocked expression on his face as the bird spoke. What was stranger, was that the bird had Rapheal's voice, and the once beady black eyes of Honcho, were now purple.
The raven bobbed his head a little, looking at Saphiro for a moment, but then staring at Loli once more.

Floating book? Collapsing body? Was that supposed to intrigue her? Honestly, the girl had seen far more interesting things in the past. At the Alliance the impossible seemed to occur everyday, which aided her in her amusement. Still, a floating book wasn't all that cool. That was until the bird starting talking. Confused, Loli fixed her eyes on the raven, trying to figure out what exactly had happened. Sure she might look like a air-head, but she did know how do analyze situations. It was obviously a spell of sorts, but which one? Why was the book needed anyone? She knew of some that needed objects in order to preform spells, but a skill like that seemed like an odd thing for a book to be vital.

"A talking bird?" Loli said finally, a look of puzzlement still fixed on her face. But it wasn't the talking bird that confused her. Oh no, it was the voice of the bird that struck her perplexed. Ah well, some things didn't need to be understood. Acting as she usually did would be the better thing to do instead of finding out answers. "That's fun." She concluded as a smile spread across her glossed lips.

This was the fun part.
The bird just stared at Loli for moments and moments it seemed, unwilling to speak again. Then, strangely, the bird began to grow. The bird began to grow, and puff up. This continued in rapid succession, the bird grew and puffed and grew and puffed until it jiggled like a big, feathery bomb. Saphiro quickly got behind his chair, watching in silence as the bird became the size of a beach ball.
Without warning, the big black Raven exploded in front of Loli's eyes, an array of black feathers and matter littering the floor and walls and couch, some plume getting into Saphiro's hair.
The raven matter floated all over the room, and Rapheal still unconscious, the book still floating.

The eyes of Loli witnessed the horrible event in horror. A shriek escape from her glossed lips as the bird exploded into tiny bits, a wail soon replacing it. Feathers seemed to be all over at that point, concentrated on Loli who had been right next to the bird. The small pieces of... something... that was on her she refused to name. Hysterical, the girl then screamed out. "You killed it!" Her words showing how frantic she was at the current moment. Though in her state of hysteria the girl still was oddly adorable with her teary eyes and wavering bottom lips. The thought of her roommate being possibly dead didn't even occur to her. It was the bird she was worried about. Poor thing. It didn't deserve to die in such a horrid explosion. That Saphiro was an evil evil boy. Loli didn't like him one bit. Mr. Grumpy pants had turned into Evil Bird Killer. She would have to make sure to call him that; if he came back that is.

It was rather odd how the girl cared so much about the death of animals when she cared so little about the death of people. But that was only because she had witnessed it so many times. Numb was what she had become, which was sad really, but she did hate to see people in pain. If she could she would stop it. Unfortunately, she had learned death had it's way of relentlessly doing it's job thanks to the Alliance.

A Horrid smile soon began to creep over Rapheal's face as he enjoyed Loli's horror. Choking back laughter, Rapheal snorted a bit, but then, burst into a cynic laughter as he held his forehead back with one hand, releasing more mind-numbing snickers and chuckles, a tear actually rolling down his eye.
"You... you should see your face!" Rapheal said in between breaths as his laughter at her horror continued. "It's....priceless!" He said as he continued to laugh his dark off.
Saphiro rolled his eyes as he took his seat once more and continued to read, seemingly uncaring for the situation.
Rapheal just continued to laugh it up, taking his sick enjoyment from Loli's sadness.
